2 out single has South Carolina up 1-0. Fogel error helped give them that run as he just overran a ball in right to give USC a free extra base.
He was going to be on second either way. It is really wet here so ball is skipping. Should be interesting in the outfield.
Headrick didn't seem to think that was the case. Either way... not real clean baseball.
Bases loaded no outs and UK going to a new pitcher in the top of the 2nd. Short leash for Stricky.
Why didn't Hazelwood start tonight? I thought we were getting he and Bosma back this weekend...looks like it's going to cost us.
Lee gets a comebacker and goes home for out 1, then he gets a double play ball, but USC beats it out and it's 3-1 Gamecocks.

I haven't kept up all that much but it sounded like Hazelwood might be shutdown for the year. Bosma is supposedly close to being back though.
We have the worst 3rd base coach in NCAA ! He sends every runner and they are thrown out 75% of the time !!!
Ridiculous decision to send the catcher home from second on hard single straight to the right fielder. Unexplainable

Like I said we played up to UT last week and tonight is the team we’ve been most of the season. We’re just so inconsistent.
Cotto coming in. Gotta say, I might be a little angry if I'm him that I'm not coming in to face my old team in a more meaningful moment than an 11-2 game.

I listened on the radio for part of it. It’s just time to move on to another coach at this point. Game management not good. Recruiting is probably the worst in the league. Development is poor at best. I just don’t see any positive developments with the team.
I don’t blame the team for not performing. They are playing the best they can. We just don’t have the talent to compete consistently in the SEC. It’s Mingione’s job to recruit SEC level talent. Bottom line is that’s just not been done. Sure we get 3-4 SEC kids a year but that’s just not enough when others are getting 10 plus each year.
