UK will win 2 of 3 against Georgia, Tennessee, and Louisville.

Lots of football to be played between now and those games, lots can happen both good and bad. For instance, the UGA QB is a true fr with 5* talent who made some 5* throws yesterday. Unfortunately for him he also made some 1* throws. Who knows if or even when the light comes on for him? And if UK's QB situation doesn't improve it'll be difficult staying up. Let's worry about Miss St then go from there.

Don't necessarily agree here. I would say Kiffin called the same two plays around 20% of the time yesterday: stretch zone to the boundary with the RBs and QB power to the field. They had over 200 yards rushing on just those two plays alone. UT couldn't adjust and Kiffin just kept running the same thing and UT was helpless.

Fantastic play calling by Kiffin the whole game.
Fair enough. I admittedly was switching back and forth between several games once Bama had thst one in hand. You actually serve to prpve my poiny anyway. If Kiffin ran the same two plays against Tennessee and obliterated them, these folks who think we "held" Bama to 34 need a reality check.

Bama never tries to pour it on teams that they're clearly better than. They didn't cover the spread in our game or their game with Western.
This is the truth of the matter.
The closer you are to their caliber the more likely they are to want to make a statement..

They use games like ours to play 2nd stringers, work on plays / schemes they aren't very efficient with.

UL was a BS no fumble call away from losing to Duke, on top of a BS roughing kicker call that would've gave Duke ball with chance to score and win on final drive. 2 pivotal game changing calls that for toy effected the outcome of the game. I believe we're a much better team than Duke. I don't think FSU is that good. FSU got beat by UNC, who got smacked by VT 38-3, a VT team that just lost to SU. Miami has been the beneficiary of a terrible schedule until they met a not very good FSU team. I truly believe the only top 20 ACC team is Clemson. UL beat a very overrated FSU team who I honestly don't believe is that good. And what else have they done? Beat Duke by the skin of their teeth?

If our defense keeps this up, then by no means should you expect a continuation of last years UL game, because this defense is completely different and much better than the one that faced UL last season. If SJ gets in a groove passing the ball. Then we very well could beat UL. I truly don't think UL is good. Everyone thinks they're great because they beat a crazily overrated FSU team and needed help from the officials to beat Duke. And that's it? I just ain't buying the hype like everyone else. They've beaten one overrated team in a rebuild year. Now they're unbeatable? I just don't get it. I EXPECT a VERY COMPETITIVE game vs a SEVERELY OVERRATED UL team. I by no means believe they're close to the #7 team in the country. That's a joke to me.

So, based on your rationale, you must think Ole Miss sucks, since FSU beat them by double digits. And therefore, Alabama must not be the dominating team everybody thinks they are, since that sucky Ole Miss team outplayed them for 3 quarters in their game.

And the best of the SEC East, Tennessee? Yeah, they must be horrific, too, since they should have lost to Appalacian State, who was blown off the field by that overrated Miami team that lost yesterday to that crappy UNC team that was blown away by the Virginia Tech team that lost to Syracuse, and also lost to...that horrific Tennessee team...wait a minute, in my best Calipari voice "WHAT?" See how silly that all sounds?

It's fun to speculate about all this right now, but lots of football. Nobody really knows what's going to happen yet, and it's comical watching talking head opinions change weekly.

As far as Louisville is concerned, I know for a fact two things:

1) that Jackson kid is a freak, and as long as he is out there taking every offensive snap, that team has a chance in any game they play in; and
2) if that kid gets hurt, they're toast.

Toast? Hardly..Two years their QB went down and they put in a sub and still beat us!

Offensively we would be seriously hampered without Jackson....Think about it...Jackson has 30 TDs in 6 Games and 4 of those games were against P5 opponents...the kid is a Freak...

Tennessee is so beaten up right now, they may end up losing 3 more games.
They have some injuries, but I wondered about that and looked up their defensive stats for all their games this year. The players that had their 1st start against Bama played very well and had better production than the injured starters they replaced. In fact, with a very few exceptions (singel games) that have been the case for UT all year. Backups and backups starting have outperformed the starters all season long. Butch Jones can cry all he wants about losing key players, but numbers don't lie.

UL is SEVERELY overrated. Outside of the QB position and schedule. We're every bit as talented. They have a million times better coach, which does account for a lot. BUT, as I said, outside of the QB position I would take our roster of UL's and I'm very unbiased when it comes to sports. I'm not a big blue Homer with unrealistic expectations by any means, I just think that game is a lot more winnable than many believe.

You heard it here first.
Seriously, put down the pipe. And back away from the window.
We will win against Mizzu, Miss St, Austin Peay.
But we have not think improved or even shown an ounce of improvement enough to beat Georgia, Tennessee or Louisville. We may get to that point, but not yet.

You are letting your bias get to you. The only place we are even a hint better might be running back and that is more of a push.

Simply the way they handled Florida State and played Clemson should tell you that much. Our best game was a 28 point loss to Bama, their worst game was a 6 point loss to Clemson.

Stats for Kentucky/Bama:
BAMA: Joshua Jacobs 16-100, Jalen Hurts 9-25, Bo Scarbrough 5-21, B.J. Emmons 3-16, Damien Harris 2-11, Calvin Ridley 1-6, Team 1--6

Hurts ran the ball 9 times. Zero rushes in the 4th quarter.

Stats for Tennessee/Bama
BAMA: Jalen Hurts 12-132, Bo Scarbrough 5-109, Damien Harris 14-94, B.J. Emmons 9-38, Joshua Jacobs 6-38, ArDarius Stewart 1-29, Cooper Bateman 2--2

Right now Bama is the best team I've seen in many, many years! And I've watched many, many SEC games over the years!

By the end of the year Ohio State is right with them...they are only scratching the surface on their talent. That young team went on the road to both Oklahoma And Wisconsin and won...that speaks volumes

Here's an interesting question: If you had the choice of winning against UGA and UT and going to the SEC championship game OR beating Louisville to become bowl
Eligible, which would you pick?

As much as I hate Louisville, I think going to a SEC Championship (even knowing we have no chance against Bama) would help us more with recruiting and our program confidence as a whole.

Going to the SEC championship game.

I'll take that, because that will mean that if we beat 2 out of 3 of those then we've likely beaten Miss. St., Mizzou, and Austin Peay as well which puts us at 8-4 on the season.

If UK keeps it within 21 of either UT or UL I'd be surprised. Who knows about UGA. I'm sure they will get healthy and Chubb will run for 250 on us or something knowing our luck.
Yeah I agree Chubb will play and he is the absolute key for that team in every aspect look at the games he has played vs the ones he hasn't with him they'll beat us by a couple tds or more but w/o him playing I think there's a chance it's somewhat winnable. Now Louisville at home last game of the year may be a different story.

Louisville would be the one to lose.Win all others and play SEC CHAMPIONSHIP.
Especially since the east is a train wreck this year I seriously believe if they were in the east they would finish top 2. Look at us were tied for 2nd with ut and have given up the second most points of any team from the east again (besides ut) even though they have scored the most but anyways. I think ul would have a very good chance to take the sec east this year
