Land Wilkerson and this portal season has been an absolute grand slam.
Need a couple more. Another shooter like Wilkerson or Pierre and a backup point guard. maybe this is where a guy like Max Green or somebody willing to be the backup like Kerr Krissa was supposed to be this year. Lewis leaving actually makes me wish Krissa had stuck around, but I get it. he wants to be a starter his last season.
I think we can make it without another back up point guard but will be a larger drop off in production. With the bigs we have we would just need a guy to play the spot without turnovers and find guys open for shots or dunks.
IDK, I like our class better than Michigans, but cant say i know all these guys too well. But anytime you have a potential lottery pick on your team in JQ... that to me puts our class at the top.

I agree. We have Jasper, Chandler, Oweh and Perry who are all capable backup PGs. Add Wilkerson/combo guard too. Plenty of options.

Are we just wanting Wilkerson for scoring because his defense rating is pretty bad -1.1 compared to Brea at DBPM was 1.5
To be honest, no one really has any idea as to how the team will actually play as a unit.
I thought KU was loaded this year, especially when you factor in the three guys that were highly rated in the portal (Storr, Mayo, Griffin), and we saw what happened with them.

Wait a second. What about all the hand-wringing and crying a few days ago when Louisville (#9 Louisville that is) got 3 quick pickups? What about all the moaning and complaining that Pope can't recruit?
Oh well. I'm sure those people have learned a valuable lesson. I'm certain next spring we won't go through exactly the same thing, folks going crazy any time another program signs a highly rated kid or we don't sign a particular kid we've targeted. I'm certain of it! Glad we all will have evolved.

I like it, but isn't this the same guy (or system) that said we were better with Oweh off the court?
I think he would have stuck around for the backup PG role. Just didn’t make sense for him to be 3rd string victory cigar behind Lewis.
I’d take Kerr back if there wasn’t behind the scenes stuff we didn’t know of. Super senior Kerr is probably better than Freshman Lewis anyways
Really depends on the site. 247 has UofL #2, ON3 has UofL at #6. Unless Pryor decides to not return I doubt UofL goes for anymore highly ranked recruits, so I can see that ranking fall.
We have to be #1 in transfer class, and likely #1 in total incoming class.
