Walz is a great coach and I have utmost confidence that we will improve this year, but yesterday was a classic mismatch in talent. Their point guard (from GTech, who we wanted) dominated the game and their much bigger frontcourt dominated ours.(outrebounded by 14, blocked shots 8-1)

I missed the game because of traveling but our team doesn’t have any marquee players. This team is full of blue collar players. NIL has definitely caused a drop in our recruiting. We had better players before NIL that would indicate we aren’t putting out the same money other teams are paying.

I think this team has a lot of room for improvement. Need for one of guards to become a floor general. Imari is starting to understand the role.
