UK's Kendra Harrison sets World Record in 100 meter hurdles

Former Wildcat star Kendra Harrison broke the 28 year-old world record in the women's 100 m hurdles last night at the London Muller Anniversary Games.

Yet, she WILL NOT be on the US Olympic Team in Rio! Although favored, she finished 6th in the recent US Olympic Trials. Not sure what's up with that? Was she injured?

Note: The clock initially stopped at 12.58, but this was actually the time of the 2nd place finisher.

She's not in the Olympics because she had one of her worst runs ever at the Olympic trials. If you read her comments on this race, she said it was a redemption / vengeance race because of the bad run she had at the trials.

"Vengeance"? I don't understand why she said that. Vengeance is like payback. I doubt that the Olympian who took her spot cares.

Yes, I think Bill is over thinking her statement. She wasn't seeking vengeance on anyone but herself and her poor performance. She said redemption right after that. I'm guessing in the moment of getting a mic shoved in her face, that was the only word that came to her head to start.
