Could UK and UL meet again in a bowl game?
Louisville is not a very good football team. Not nearly good enough for some of you to act as if UK stands no chance. Pitt basically went into prevent defense in the 2nd quarter yesterday.
They don't have the O line of UT and definitely not Miss St, nor is Jackson the same level of passer as Dobbs or Prescott.
They have a hard time stopping the run, and UK has a pretty good stable of backs. Outside of Jackson they don't have much of a running game.
Louisville will cover spread..... we are horrible and poorly Coached to boot. They will have all day to throw and then scramble if they have to. Their dline will destroy our oline.Barker will throw at least one pick six and several interceptions and Towles will be put back in. Not because they are bad our Oline is beyond horrible at pass blocking.
Games are won upfront and we have two worst lines in Power 5 football. We cant pass block or rush passer without blitzing. I hope I am wrong...but watching Charlotte get pressure was disturbing

I've watched every game they have played. It is there weakness problem is we can't get a pass rush with 4 guys against anybody. Did you read my post or just clueless about footballDo you have any idea what you are talking about? Have you done any research on Louisvilles o-line?
Again another poster who is clueless...we ain't running the ball against them. Watch the games. 2nd and long as Boom tries to bust it outside with nothing thereyou don't even mention our run-blocking which is way better than pass blocking. Mark my words, Coach Stoops has pretty much already indicated he is going to run the ball all day long vs. UL and I think it will work. We will run the ball down their throats and squeak out a victory.
Louisville wouldn't lose to Vandy @ Vandy. Trust me give the 3.5You don't know any of this. You're just making up negative comments with no facts whatsoever to support what you're saying. I hope we win but I don't feel good about it. I'm not going to rip the team and act like I can see into the future. That serves no purpose. We're not good but UL may be just as bad or worse.
realize you are comparing them to teams that killed us. They don't have to be as good as UT or MSU to be a favorite. GBBLouisville is not a very good football team. Louisville ranks dead last in FBS sacks allowed, but we can't get to them...everyone can get to them but us...UL ran for -1 yard vs Pitt, but their OL will dominate us...cut it out.I've watched every game they have played. I've watched every UL game minus ones played during UK or UK gameday travel time...they have more negative offensive plays than we have, and that's saying something. If you don't allow the large play and make them drive the ball, they will eventually miss a block, false start or hold and set them back into a huge hole.
Their defense has good players but under performs. Their offense is young and inexperienced but can hit a big play if you fall asleep.
This will be a tight game.

I don't know if I can agree about their run defense, they have the 17th ranked rushing defense in the country.
They have a higher SOS than we do. Our Rush offense is ranked 57th.They padded their stats against some horrible offenses. A true freshman ran for close to 200 yards against them on Saturday. Pitt was running at will on UL and they don't have a Boom Williams on their roster

Better SOS? UK has the 5th toughest schedule his year, Lil Brothel has the 47th. Good grief.

I think stats compiled over a season are relevant. I'd say they are more accurate than most fans feelings and so does Vegas. I'm not saying we can't run against UL, I'm just saying UL is not Charlotte and the running will be significantly tougher. We will have to pass the ball in order to run.Stats don't tell the whole story. If I'm a RB I'd MUCH rather run against Boston College than Florida, Tennessee, Miss St, and Georgia but the stats don't bear that out. Just as UL's defense was supposed to be all-madden last year but Chubb broke 30-40 year old SEC rushing records on them. The ACC hides behind weak non-conference scheduling and build their profile by beating up on Cuse, UVA, Wake, ect.
