Will miss several games.
Derwin James has torn cartilage in his knee, no structural damage. No ACL tear. He's going to have surgery today. #FSU

Their breaks seem to never end. Really means I might need to examine the credo I have lived by, cheaters never prosper. And it is beginning to look like half our fan base has already done that, although bad times always bring out the vultures, in droves on here..

The only thing that could even out their situation IMO is the death penalty (and probably the fair thing) and as proven by no investigation of hurtt's NROTY award the NCAA is too incompetent to even mount an investigation, let alone find half the bodies. Just too much money involved, and jurich with all his Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL'S NIGHT (with an occasional Saturday game) games has ESPN eating out of his hand.

I hate Louisville as much as the next person, but they made a smart hire when getting Petrino again... it was moderate risk with a high reward and it paid off. We hire as vanilla and safe as possible then wonder why we don't get "breaks." For once I'd like a football program that doesn't sit around waiting for breaks.

Louisville definitely did some shady recruiting, but it isn't anything worse than what goes on everywhere else. Except here, Choir Boy Mitch will see to that...

I also think the random games through the week are dumb, but apparently recruits didn't. Louisville football is as big as it's ever been, and that exposure helped.

If Louisville doesn't get the Thursday Charlotte game on ESPN and the Friday night game against Syracuse on ESPN2 and the buzz created by Lamar Jackson in those two games...College Gameday isn't in Louisville this weekend of that I have zero doubt.

FSU is loaded with future NFL players. They hid Stoopses deficiencies and they will expose loserville's deficiencies

Winning a ballgame is nothing compared to morals and values. We truly have some deadbeats as fans. I bet 90% of the Petrino lovers never attended UK. Idiots.

Although I have not lived in Kentucky for over 3 decades, as I understand it: UK owns the Radio -TV-Print Media in Louisville. I believe there may be 1 radio exception.

I'm no lover - Petrino is a total jackass, d-head, douche. But his real crime is breaking nepotism laws that are broken every day, and he's a jerk for porking a volleyball player. It's not like he covered up sexual assaults like Briles.

You couldn't be more wrong. Tom Jurich owns all the media in Louisville. The only source for UK talk pretty much is KSR and KSTV on Time Warner. UofL even has their own sports talk radio station. The media in Louisvile is nothing more than a puppet for Tom Jurich

Can you honestly say they're wrong? Jackson is a Heisman candidate, beating FSU and Clemson would go a long ways with voters. It sucks, but they are set up very nicely this year.

Neither one have morals. I'm getting sick of the whiny "fans" that say we should hire a dirtbag and win at any costs. It comes up here every year and it's not going to happen...so I'm done talking about it as UK Football isn't worth worrying about.

I agree it isn't going to happen. I'm. It saying Petrino was the right choice, he may have been terrible here. What I'm saying is our outright refusal to consider him shows a lot about the state of the administration. Football is a sketchy sport. Every coach has skeletons in their closet. When we'll only hire the squeakiest of the squeaky clean, the likelihood of failure skyrockets. We have to think outside of the box because of who we are, and sometimes that includes a calculated gamble on a coach with a few issues. I'm not saying hire Hitler, but I'm saying we can't play it 100% safe every time and expect things to change

I can't say they're wrong.... YET. But I do know this- UK would have beaten Charlotte by as much as they cared to win by and they would have beaten Syracuse. There aren't many teams that suck worse than us but those two fit the part. And UK can't beat their scout team. Jackson has looked good and UL has won both games easily. We beat LSU when they were #1 and I believe they finished the season as National Champs ? It was at Commonwealth and we didn't suck back then. Even with that we weren't National Title contenders. UL is at home and College Game Day will be there and this is UL's Super Bowl as Cal would say. I hope like hell Florida State beats the holy hell out of Louisville but even if Louisville wins I don't believe they can win the NC. There are a ton of other teams that would beat UL on their home field. This game just happens to play into UL's hands pretty well.

Yes he is. I hate to see him go down. The good news for him is, players with those type injuries can now come back as good as new where in the old days, they might be career enders.
I think its just a minor cartilage repair. I'd love to see him play against UL though. James is an elite level safety. He's better than Jalen Ramsey was.

I'm going to laugh my *** off if Louisville goes undefeated and gets in the playoff while we have a 3-9 record.

Why ? I could see why a UK fan would shake their head and be frustrated but why laugh ? The **** storm we're going through right now is far from funny. I'm not trying to be a jerk to you at all but this year is another bomb.

I'm sorry, but as long as Louiacille'a qb is healthy there are not a ton of teams that can beat them no matter where they play right now. He has 2-4 WR who are willing and can make plays on balls thrown their way and his passing has improved enough to give them a chance. Add that to his running ability which is better than most RBs in the country they are not easy to defend. The qb goes down its a whole new ballgame and there might be tons who can beat them, but with him healthy they are capable of beating anyone.

I doubt we could go into the carrier dome right now and win a game. We just lost a home game to a cusa team and got blanked on the road against an ok Florida team.
