Yes, he's fine. A few games ago someone asked Cal about players limping here or there and he said sometimes players are sore or have something nagging but it's not a real issue. Says most players in the NBA are like that and play through it just fine.
Idk much about that, but I think that's what he said. Maybe someone can find that press conference and link it, because I probably butchered what he actually said, haha.
As I recall it Cal didn't specifically say what it was ... just that it was something Ulis could play through. I think he used the terms tendinitis when talking about it, but without saying that's what it was. It was something along the lines of "almost every guy in the NBA plays with it on a nightly basis, so if you can't take that pain, find another sport".
I actually sat on the floor for the Missouri game (in front of Shannon Spake of ESPN and behind the photographers) down near UK's bench. It clearly causes him pain. He was limping a lot. They used the little rollers thingy on his calves coming out of halftime. And he had it wrapped and iced a various points.
Doesn't seem to affect his play much. The way it looked to me is he limps when he's been sitting or something, but once he gets to running around whatever it is loosens up and doesn't bother him much if at all.
Bottom line is he is "hurt", but he's not "injured". He has some discomfort and can play through it. Hurt you can play through it. Injured is when you can't. Don't think this is anything major.
