i can't find the article but it was mentioned from the AP that Bradley would test the waters and hasn't Duke out hiring an agent. If he is debating whtlether to hire an agent then he must be staying in draft and not just testing. So they would lose Jackson and Bradley. I thought if he came back they could be good again but it's going be tough with Maye the only big man they have now

I think he'll end up coming back next season. He has a chance to really improve his draft stock with an increase in minutes next season. He's a talented player. Unfortunately, I do think they'll be pretty good again next season assuming Berry comes back.

Yeah this isn't like Tyus Jones who doesn't have the measurables and was showcased the entire year. Bradley will return and get a lot better. I really like that kid, for a heel.

Yea I thought he would but most mock drafts have him the first 5 picks in the second round. So him going into draft he could improve his stock and just winning a title he may feel not a need to return. Without him unc becomes even thinner than we thought we were.

Why do you think they'll be pretty good next season even with Berry? It seems like they're losing almost everyone except for Berry and Pinson (I still don't give Luke Maye enough credit so at worst, three people). Everyone else will be hohum bench players or freshmen. Unless they land a couple of major recruits, I don't get the belief, and you're not the first I've seen say that, that they'll be good next year.

Because they'll prolly get Knox and I hate to say it but Bradley is going to prolly be a really good player. There were suppose to be "ok" this year after brice and paige left but look what happened.

Possibility of getting Knox, an expected huge improvement from Bradley, role players who have been getting developed within the program, and an ultimate glue guy in Pinson. Surround a top tier point guard with those weapons and they're going to win a lot of games. I don't think we could diminish the role that continuity plays in a lot of winning teams. I don't know if they'll be a legitimate title contender, but they should have a firm spot in the top 25.

UNC will be down....for them. That means, at worst, likely in the top 10-15.

Berry will be a favorite for the Cousy award and Pinson will likely make transition well taking on a bigger role. Also, I'm expecting Bradley to come back. Add in Luke Maye have you have a solid foundation to build upon.

Taking it a step further they'll bring in Felton who will be solid from the get-go, and the expected progression of players like Woods, Robinson and Williams.

If Bradley comes back and improves his shot he will go high.

UNC imo has a good foundation to grow on.

Bradley, may stay in the draft. But my gut tells me he'll come back. He has the chance to become the go to guy in the post and improve his game even more. He can play himself to be a high first rounder.

I don't blame him for testing the waters though. If he leaves, I will wish him well.

Just telling the DUKE fans what I had heard
Relax partner, I was posting over here long before you joined. I'm just noting that it seems odd regarding Bradley. You seem to insuiate there is something amiss, prompting him to leave. Maybe you have ironclad sources. Maybe not. But TB was always expected to be a 2-3 year player and part of the reason he chose UNC was how they developed big men. Things change, I get that. But this appears to be a kid taking advantage of the rule change and getting some solid information.

I agree, but if there's any chance he could get into the first round, he'd have to jump on it. Best bet is another year to work on his passing and shooting. He could become a reliable back-up PG.

Bradley needs to strike while the iron is hot. Macadoo comes to mind and teams will have a chance to plan and exploit his weaknesses!

Yeah Berry just isn't very big. He's a solid shooter but not great. He's good athlete, but not great. He could really improve shooting and be a backup, but if I were an NBA exec I wouldn't plan on winning big games with him in my rotation. Who does he guard in the league? He will play hard I would guess, but he's either going to be outsized or out quicked. Now....That said I'm sure the Hornets will draft him....Late first rd

The last three season, it has been said UNC would be down, and they have been pretty good, especially the last two. With Berry and Bradley, I don't see them really declining a whole lot. They aren't getting the one and done talent, but they are getting max potential out of what they have. I know we make fun of Luke Maye a lot, but he is rounding into a solid contributor as well.

meeks has declared and hired an agent. Does that mean he's finally gone. OFC

He's a senior. He's already gone. I don't think UNC typically does the whole graduate player thing, mainly because that means they have to attend more classes.

Yeah but they're losing 4 of their star players (if Jackson goes) and a couple of their decent bench players. I don't see how people don't think they're going to decline much. Jackson was a huge player. Meeks has been a huge player for them. Then they're also losing Britt and Hicks.
