Three UNC men’s lacrosse players are in South Korea playing for the U20 World Championship on Team USA: Juniors Owen Duffy and Brady Wambach and freshman Anthony Raio.
The USA went undefeated (3-0) in pool play, including a one-goal win over Canada, which will likely face the American in the final. Presently the top-seeded USA team is in the quarterfinals where they will face 8th seeded England.

The United States survived a penalty-riddled fourth quarter thanks to a last-second save by goalie Patrick Jameison, holding on to defeat rival Canada 7-6 in South Korea.

The shooting woes continued, then the floodgates opened. The U.S. scored 10 goals in the final 21 minutes to defeat the Haudenosaunee Nationals 14-3 and improve to 2-0 in pool play.
