Kinda makes you mad that UNC can host anybody, they shouldn't be allowed to have a recruit within 50 miles of the place

That the unc coaches are so smug in telling kids that nothing is going to happen is even more irritating. ive read where Hubert davis has specifically told recruits they are fine and in the clear. eff him and the rest...

Sadly that's probably because the NCAA has told UNC they won't do anything, they can't let this affect the tar babies recruiting!!!! That would not be fair!!!!

If anyone truly believes that the NCAA is going to do anything significant to UNC, well that is just a dream. There will be a punishment, but it will be nothing more than a year or two of probation with no loss of scholarships and appearance in post season play will not be affected.

On a brighter note maybe another skeleton will fall out of the closet while they are there

Isn't the UNC football program in the midst of having a very good recruiting year? And football is more likely to get hit than the basketball program. Really don't think the threat of sanctions is going to have much affect on recruiting. What is affecting their recruiting is the fact that if the big-time programs, they have the most woeful history with OADs.

Because of that however, they typically have a pretty full roster, with few players at risk if leaving early. Roy will play less talented veterans over freshmen. UNC needs a 2G who is a great 3-pt shooter. I can't even begin to imagine why they are out there recruiting 2 more WFs in Ingram and Brown when they've got about 3 very good Wings on the team now.

On the other hand, would you be surprised if they were in the clear?

Wait until Paige leaves after this year. They will have no 3-point shooting.
