When was the last time our economy was tanking, gas prices were high, and confidence in anything related to things improving was so grim? Forget the news, just remember spending your own money (which you probably dont do anyway). The last time the economy was this bad was and gas prices were so high was when Obama was president. This will always happen under democrat leadership. Every single one of them will be the same or much worse. There is not a single democrat who can fix this mess, and the longer we are under dem rule, the worse things will get financially and culturally. Democrats will turn us into a third world country. It doesnt take a news article to see this. It only takes opening your eyes and starting to think for yourself.

US inflation report looks grim as food and gas prices soar. Economists predict Friday's Consumer Price Index report will show prices overall are up 8.3% from last year.
Dr. Mike Walden, an economist and professor at North Carolina State University, said increasing gas prices make it hard to predict what inflation rates will look like.
"It just means they are going up at a slower pace," Walden said. "I think inflation is going to continue to be an issue -- even if it decelerates somewhat -- I think it’s still going to be an issue for the rest of this year."
With inflation being the overriding factor, over 80% of surveyed consumers described the economy as "poor" or "not so good."

The cost of living is going up significantly, supply chain issues are still causing massive problems.
