Gives the offense a chance to work the TOP game here.

How's about a nice 8-minute 85-yd drive to go into half at 42-zip.

Even when UNI wax good many of their players were only getting a partial scholarship, some none.

now anybody good leaves for minimal money and today they are essentially playing professionals.

these games should not be happening for big ten and sec teams. It’s embarrassing. Listening to the announcers treat this like an actual game is pathetic.
Like I said.........preseason game.

Brah, I am fine. Already there.

For me, offense is all about establishing a rhythm. Iowa has a lot of talented running backs. Get them the ball quickly out in space and let them go to work.

I get what you’re saying, but these quick throws are setting up wide open downfield opportunities. UNI is trash, dude. This is the type of rhythm and decisiveness I want Brown getting in the habit of now.
Exactly, they are trash. A great opportunity to push the ball downfield by actually passing downfield. A checkdown does not develop the passing game in the way we need it to. Hank needs these reps for the upcoming three game stretch and a checkdown isn't going to save us against elite talent. Mark made big strides at the end of the year and him passing downfield are what helped us destroy Nebraska and beat Vandy. We need our guys to run these routes and catch the ball. Only that will improve our passing attack.

Cmon man. Are you actually advocating for deep throws against this team? I’m sure Hank gets more valuable experience throwing deep in practice against Iowas defense
