I'm shocked by Porter Ridge. Playing terrible this year. They are usually a consistent and solid team each year.

I have a question - I ask earnestly because I have no idea about this topic for this region of HS football:
How are things with recruiting? Does one or a couple teams in particular get robbed every year or do the robbing?
Do certain Middle Schools or districts get targeted to go find players?
You don't hear much about it out there...just wondering if it's going on at all.
I know there are some great football programs. that doesn't mean they don't do it.....and it doesn't mean that they do either.

I've heard a few things about Weddington over the years recruiting some but honestly the way that side of the county is growing they don't need to recruit so not sure if it's true. A lot of people moving into that area including kids of Carolina Panthers like Thomas Davis Jr. so some good talent there. Haven't heard much about the other schools doing any. Monroe took a couple of guys from Forest Hills this year. One was our best RB. Not sure if that was recruiting or not but it wouldn't suprise me because I know they were trying to recruit another player from FH also who stayed.
