Wrong, JMU is not in as an "At-Large" otherwise their loss to Louisville would keep them out. JMU is in because they get one of the guaranteed spots for the 5 highest ranked Conference Champions (i.e., they get the spot that UVa choked away by losing to 4 loss, unranked Duke in the ACC CCG).

11 Tulane at 6 Oregon
10 Notre Dame at 7 Ole Miss
9 Oklahoma at 8 Miami

I originally had Ole Miss at 6 and ND at 9 but maneuvered the seedings so there were no rematches in the first round (Ole Miss walloped Tulane 45-10 in September). I think the big argument may be between Alabama & Notre Dame since Miami beat ND and smacked the same FSU team that hammered Bama in Week 1.

Extremely doubtful that duhO$U hangs onto their #2 CFP Rank after losing in a game where they repeated choked and their Offense looked like dog crap against another top defense (same way it looked against the second best defense they played - Texas). I would imagine the top four seeds by CFP Final Ranking will be: 1) Indiana, 2} UGa, 3} TxTech and 4) aTm (can't see them putting 'Ole Miss here after losing their HC and going into Playoffs with 1/2 a staff being led by a former assistant).

Exactly--I think the only question is whether they're 2 or 3 (I'd guess 3) but maybe they fall to 4. Less than a 1% chance they fall behind Texas Tech.

Yeah, I'm sure all the non-homer b1g CFP people are going to be so impressed by Day and his offense choking and sputtering again and again (Day going for it on 4th-&-1 from the 5 and failing on the series before they utterly choked on FG after failing and choking on a 3rd-&-1 play prior to the choked FG.... all from a hugely overpaid Pro Team. LMAO).... and that massive offensive performance of 58 rushing yards and 7 points was just so damn impressive????

Why are you only comparing Miami against a single team (ND) using a single game outcome? What about OU, Vandy, BYU, Bama, Texas, and Utah? All those teams require consideration and the use of consistent factors to make a ranking determination.

Because it came down to Miami and ND.
