Back by popular demand, it’s PA speak, similar to last year’s Midwest speak. Pennsylvania straddles both the Midwest and the eastern states and has developed a language and accent all its own.Yinz: Used in Western PA, similar to "y'all"

Add one big thing PSU fans should enjoy if they go to Eugene: wineries. There's approximately two dozen in the Willamette Valley.
Portland is 10 times cooler than wherever you live.
That's probably true. But it also has 10X the homeless. But Mrs KG and I really liked Portland when we were there a few years ago. Good zoo, and as noted, Powell's Books and Voodoo Doughnuts. Cool train museum. Elephant Deli. Columbia River Gorge, and the coast.
And 20 times the population.
PS. If you were here a few years ago (post pandemic), you saw the worst of it. The city has improved significantly.
I'm sure whatever Oregon town you live in is lovely - most of them are. Unlike yourself, I won't stoop to the level of disparaging someone else's hometown. Have a nice day.
