That's probably true. But it also has 10X the homeless. But Mrs KG and I really liked Portland when we were there a few years ago. Good zoo, and as noted, Powell's Books and Voodoo Doughnuts. Cool train museum. Elephant Deli. Columbia River Gorge, and the coast.Portland is 10 times cooler than wherever you live.
And 20 times the population.That's probably true. But it also has 10X the homeless.

PS. If you were here a few years ago (post pandemic), you saw the worst of it. The city has improved significantly.
