Cards appear to have left their bats in the Ville. Dropped game one 11-1, but then Danilowicz and England combined for a shutout gem in game two, as the Cards prevailed 2-0.

Game 3 is tomorrow at 1pm. Let’s take our second straight series!

Game 3: Cards have scratched out 3 runs here in the 3rd and 4th innings to take a 3-1 lead. Good pitching again from Colton Hartman and Brandon Shannon through the first 4 innings.

Cards just ran out of pitching in the 8th inning today. Gave up 5 runs with 2 outs to fall behind 7-4. Tague Davis 2-run homer in the 9th was not quite enough, and UNC prevails 7-6.

HELP WANTED sign still out for some consistent pitching, but we’re getting a lot closer!
