Louisville coming out strong. Completely unbiased opinion (and if you've seen me post about Louisville, you'll know that I hate them with a passion), refs are really letting UVA hack away at Harrell anywhere within 16 feet.
10-3 lead at the first tv timeout.

You have to constantly be the aggressor and attack UVA's defense. Their D is not that good when teams do that. When Duke did it, they had success, when Miami did it, they had success, when UL did it later in the last game to try to rally, they had success. UVA is a cute story and solid team, but the truth is they have inferior players to some teams and if you have talented players like a UK, Duke, Arizona, etc, you can have good success against them.

I haven't really watched much of Virginia this year, but they look like they are doing it with smoke and mirrors. They just don't look very athletic out there. They don't look like a 2nd ranked team. I am surprised they only have 1 loss. Louisville is making them look like a bad team.

It feels wrong rooting for U of L, but getting Virginia out of a No. 1 seed wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Louisville is going for the jugular.
And I agree, said it all year. UVA is too unathletic to play that fast when teams really attack. Penetration = death for UVA, but penetrating is the tough part. It plays into Louisville's style though, because Louisville is far more athletic.
If Louisville keeps the hot hand, this could end up as a blowout.

LOL seriously?! UVA is about as lucky as Gonzaga at snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. It is early man.

If the committee moves Villanova to the East 1 and leaves Duke in the South I agree. Then they can justify UVA as the 2 in the east, and give UK either Gonzaga or KU as the 2 in the midwest and Wisconsin can take that last 1 out west.

I've said it before, but Virginia reminds me of those "great" Tubby teams of the early 2000's.

Nice of Virginia to not even bother showing up. The way the Tards will beat their chests if they pull this off, you'd think they were 31-0. This potential win would suddenly be more impressive than anything UK has done all season, and "They would destroy us if we meet up again in the tournament."
Rinse and repeat every season with Loserville fans.

UL controlling the pace of this game and UVA looks shell-shocked... Props to Louisville for taking right at them. I dislike the Cards as much as anyone, but I'll admit good basketball when I see it and UL came out with a chip on their shoulder.

You cared enough to click on a thread that is already getting attention, and posting in it, so there's that.
Hate both teams, interesting to see nonetheless.
As for the lulzville fans beating their chest in they win, that's fine. UVA is #2, not #1. Beating #2 is not beating #1, and saying that you're going to win in the tournament after being on the losing end of a lopsided rivalry doesn't do much for ya, so I'm indifferent in that regard.

Doesn't to my knowledge, but I just don't like anything called a "hoo" or "wahoo" or a "wahoowa".

Come on man, lighten up. Will you watch the Duke/UNC game later? This is the best time of the year. It's okay to watch teams that don't have UK on the front of the jersey. I'm a fan of Kentucky AND college basketball. I like to watch good teams play each other. Crazy theory, I know.

It doesn't. They won the ACC. No way they're not getting a 1.

Duke could drop to a 2.

This begs the question....

Is it UL or is the ACC (and UVA) over rated?

What did UVA do in OOC?

Virginia could easily drop to a 2. Duke beat them head to head and they could meet again in the ACC tournament.

I'd rather Virginia be our No. 2 seed than Duke or Wisconsin.

UVA will work themselves back into this (only 5 at half) - UVA wears you down (especially when Anderson is playing), their defense gets tougher as the game wears.

I just made the same remark to my wife. He has aged rapidly over the past few years. He looks much older than his actual age.

All I could think of was the movie "Death Becomes Her".
