If I am an AD with a head coaching opening, who are some coaches at smaller programs or low paying districts, or assistant coaches who are up and coming and would warrant consideration for a head coaching job?

I've noticed in the old SCC conference that individuals who coach for schools they went to and have a big passion for the game.
Casey Moran, OC of Nazareth. He comes from good stock, held the pivot with knowledge and power. He's also learned from two nascent local football icons...
He also understands the spread and pro set, a mix that has paid dividends for backs under his tutelage. That said he's also a former lineman and line coach, and IMO that is the most important position at a championship level. Win the line win the day, spread or I form.

Doing a great job of getting his guys the ball in positions to do something with it.
