Tough stretch and will tell a lot where this team is. Cam need to emerge and have it click. The St. John's concerns me in that Ponds called the team out after the loss to Georgetown. They came out and played well last night @ Creighton. Like others, this is their Super Bowl for a quality win. Chris Mullen will have them ready.

That game actually worries me just a little bit because they seem to give us a hard time from time to time and they’ve broke a couple of Duke’s home non-conference winning streaks.against unranked opponents.

As long as Tre doesn't allow Ponds to go off (doubt he will, doubt Ponds has seen a defender like Tre all year) we should crush St. Johns.

I want to crush them, 25+ points. Hopefully we shoot well in Cameron...been a while.

That uva game makes no sense at all. We beat up on them without our most important player. They just went to OT with state and should have lost. They are not some mythical juggernaut.

Tony Bennett is the best Jan, Feb & early March coach there is. Late March Tony Bennett is the problem.

Johnnies always show up for Duke, they think it's a rivalry. EFF Duke shirts in MSG last year puzzled me. SJU then turns around and loses to Depaul. But hey, SJU loves talking about that lone Final Four berth is 1985!

I AGREE! However curious of YOUR take about "but this isnt last season" and likewise "Something feels different this season." Is it INTANGIBLES other teams didnt have, sheer talent, etc???? Thanks...

OFC

I just think this team blends together better. Additionally, while still a very good team without Tre, I think we got a glimpse of what it would be like without him. We would have won a lot of games, but having him (and a true PG, for that matter) just changes the dynamic both offensively and defensively.

Also, I think mentally for the other guys knowing their leader is back was huge for them.

Pretty much and i think if you put tre on our last two teams we might have another title right now

It seems that most think we are going to lose at UVA. We are better. This time we will have Tre and 2 more games for Tre to get back at full strength. I think we are the team no one wants to deal with. OFC

Oh I think we are better and will win that game. I do think its our most difficult one to win, or the one that we have the best chance to lose, but if I'm betting money, I absolutely take us.

I would be very happy with a 4-2 record in that stretch. Even at 4-2 I wouldn't panic as losses on the road happen. At VT always seems to be a battle for Duke teams over the past few years. Here is to hoping this Duke team walks into Blacksburg and just puts the game away early. I also really hope we get the win at Uva. Would be nice to sweep them and would be even closer to getting a lock on the east #1 seed that would run through DC. For selfish reasons..I just want to see Duke go through the DC region for the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 as its not too bad drive for me to go there to see the games. Right now it seems like its Uva and Duke battling for the East region #1 seed. And no way we lose at home vs Unc.

I would be happy with 4-2. 5-1 would be great. 6-0 would be just awesome with that stretch of games!

I'll be happy with no less than 5-1. I think were gonna win at Syracuse, because we were gonna beat them by 40 with Tre.
I also think were gonna win at VT, we have lost there the last 2 years, cannot fathom 3 in a row.....

I won't be "happy" with anything but 6-0!!!

I do think 5-1 would be understandable though that stretch.

I think we beat UVA and unc. The game that concerns me is playing
U of L 3 days after the UVA game.

But I am looking for, and predicting us to go 6-0.

I'll be there, counting down the days. Plan on hanging out all day at the bars downtown.
Got a season-ticket holder connection down there in grad school, I'll be 4 rows behind one of the baskets in a Zion jersey.

I'm thinking about it. But I will only go if I am in a really good seat. I would rather watch at a sports bar than from the moon. Just haven't decided if I want to pay what a good seat will cost , because I will have to buy two
Tickets. From what I'm seeing right now, that will be about an 800.00 game.....maybe sky can loan me some from the "fund".

I'm in the same boat, I can't afford a good seat for really any Duke game. However...got lucky and found a season ticket holder.

Also a chance Duke could be playing back in Louisville for the Sweet 16/Elite 8...definitely will be there too.

One positive....YUM Center does sell beer (and KFC chicken boxes). I about lost it when I went to the game at Clemson last year and couldn't buy beer....

How do you think Kentucky would do in that stretch starting with @Virginia? Asking for a friend.

3-3 at best. They've looked strong lately but, two of their marquee wins (KU and Auburn) had missing stars. They'd get pummeled by UVA and would seriously struggle with all those road games.

C’mon....you said UNC would be a bubble team.

Kentucky is really good. To say 3-3 ‘at best’ completely diminishes our win earlier this season.

It’s ok to say both UNC and UK are good. We’re better, but they’re still good.

I honestly thought they would be in the bubble, I was wrong. As far as UK goes I remain unconvinced. The SEC is better than normal and they're getting better but, I don't know. Their offense is still suspect at times, and they don't appear to have a clear cut leader or two to lead them when **** gets rough. 4 of those 6 games are on the road, and I think mentally itd be too much for them. Also, it doesn't diminish our win against them, as that schedule would be absolute hell for anyone but the absolute cream of the crop to get out of without suffering a few losses.

A six game stretch difficult games hmmm that sounds familiar. Should be good training mentally and physically for March and April.

I will be disappointed (and surprised) if we lose more than one. After a loss we tend to re-focus and get to it even harder. God help the team who plays us coming off a loss.

Tre shooting better, Cam shooting better, Bolden playing better. THIS is what we were hoping for while still winning almost every game. Javin had a real solid game yesterday too. Come on Jack, rediscover your corner 3! Nothing is ever guaranteed, but we are looking better than we were when we were #1.

Yeah, something feels really different that's for sure. Don't know if i will ever see a team quite like this one. This really harkens back to '99 for me, only we look better - with a true point guard.

The only weakness appears to be 3 point shooting and FT's.

Overmatched teams going to pack it into a zone and make us hit outside shots. I am really beginning to think that the only thing that can really beat this team is... well this team. If you know what I mean. Get Zion in foul trouble, etc.

I’m really interested to see if we will be favored at UVA. I’m thinking we will but not by much.

Maybe by 2-3.5 points? I’ll be surprised it the line is more than that.
