Trying to keep up with the whipper snappers and the general drift of the English language into the abyss of dumbassery it’s clearly headed for… with that in mind share updated terminology here if you would so I don’t have to go a’lookin’ fer it.

mine is … when did “showing off” become “showing out”? Or is this a regional usage I missed? In my background I understood showing off to be demonstrating all your ability for the watcher. It had a connotation of bragging. Showing out was misbehaving.

Someone says something that you agree with & you say “vouch”. As in “I can vouch for that”.

Basically replaces the 80’s/90’s version of “word”.
