Lost a lot to graduation from last year…but still a tough group on any given Friday.
Some of these people don’t know what we do. I would not want to face the Green team right now.

nor would I want to see the purple team in a one and done.Yeah Heritage looked like hot garbage last year,, right up until the week after the Mitchell game. Then trucked on down to the state championship. Joey can win in November.
Talking to My son and few other of last years seniors they had a lot just playing in cruise control. Mitchell game woke some up. May have done the same this year. Never know.
It happens. They're teenagers. Mitchell was on cruise control earlier this year, until they womped Heritage. Seems to have rekindled the fire. Hopefully the won't slack off until december.

Again must be in response to all the posts and threads from ER posters, which until sorta recently consisted mainly of well, me, touting what the team would do to any others that dared to venture to Ramseur...

You don’t even know anything about ER. So not so sure why you find it necessary to talk trash about us. But that’s fine. Ask one of your parents about ER football and what she has to say. She’s an alum. Her sons last name is Phillips. Then get back to me. I’ve always pulled for Mitchell because they used to be a pretty down program and then that changed and her sons went there. I even went up to East surry to pull for them when her son scored the tying TD in the closing second only to have the refs totally blow the call which was bs. But man I’m about so tired of the mouth and trashing of ER when you know zero about us.
No doubt, we’ve said zero on her but respect of other programs
I’ve watched football games at eastern Randolph and I’ve watched y’all play at heritage. Always well coached and disciplined. Statement was mostly in jest as that is a quote from blazing saddles. My only real point is to all the non er posters saying you all have a cake walk. I think your really good the odds on favorite, but people shouldn’t forget about other teams that have a chance to win. Going to y’all’s place and winning will be tough, but when you get to the 3rd round games will be closer than people think. I personally think you all can beat tarboro if you get to the championship so good luck. Don’t over look heritage or robbinsville because they have good players too.
What you have to consider against teams like heritage and Robbinsville is that they not only could beat you but every if they don’t, they could keep you from winning the next one. Physicality is a top priority of these teams. They will hit you. Definitely think ER has a good team. Seem to have a little bit of everything. Look forward to seeing these games.

But I digress, if you look at posts made by actual ER people the only team we rag on EVER wears orange and blue (well Southwestern some but they yellow/blue so not a stretch)..
I just watch and/or listen to games then occasionally comment. I don’t play and my children are finished as well.

I just get a kick out of poking the Bears and Black Knights. They got enough posters to find that one that hits home. On another note from what I’m hearing Mitchell could pick up two big transfers next year. If they do Mt. Airy better watch out and don’t count those chickens before they hatch.
