I can’t wait until Zion play UNC and we beat them then their little wins will be so irrelevant. They’re gonna be heartbroken once we beat them

Not sure we beat them even with Zion - don't think we match up well with UNC, because what they're terrible at - giving up lots of 3pointers - we can't really take advantage. And with Bolden out, another one of this team's weaknesses - lack of depth - will come into play.

Another year, another poorly constructed "super team" that is missing key parts. Sigh.

Swapping Trent for Reddish (and vice versa) would be ideal?

Looking at the schedule for the tournament. Our game on Thursday will be at 9pm then if we make it to Friday which we should, our game will be at 9pm and then the Championship game on Saturday is at 8:30pm. I’m thinking that the Thursday and Friday games probably won’t start until 9:30 because there’s usually about a 30 minute delay after the 7pm game. I imagine that the OFC guys aren’t going to be thrilled with 3 games in a row with late start times.

We lost by 9 without bolden and Zion. You don't think they change the game by more than 9???

This team isn't poorly constructed. We have 3 really good scorers and a bunch of role players who are good at what they do. That's like saying the Warriors are poorly constructed because they rely on Durant, Steph and Klay for most of their offense. It's just difficult to replace a guy who gives you 22, 9, 2, 2 and 2 on really efficient shooting with anyone, let alone guys who aren't really great scorers. We've had a run of bad luck, like cosmic interference level bad luck for years now, it is what it is. Still, we get Zion back this coming week, and after all this ****** luck, we're 26-5 with a chance to nab 3 great victory's in 3 days, and if we manage to do so, we'll be one of the top seeds in the Big Dance. Also, I don't know if you've seen the clip of Zion leaving the Dean E. ***** Center tonight but, he's pissed, and is going to bring all of Hell with him next week against the Cheats next week, it's going to get ugly. So quit your belly-aching cause, these boys still have a special run in them, plus, your a Duke fan, the greatest college basketball program ever, what do you really have to complain about?

Sounds like you want a perfect team. That's not going to happen so you might as well give up on that dream.

We don't match up well with UNC? Hahaha. If anything we match up perfectly with them when we have our full team. If they go big, we can go big and have the better talent on the floor. If they go small, we move Zion to center and we have the better talent on the floor. UNC doesn't have good interior defense. We shoot 58% from 2 when Zion is playing. That's elite. UNC is more of a 3 point shooting team...we have one of the best 3 point shooting defenses in the country. We have held up pretty good in rebounding against them. With Zion, we would be better rebounding. So, I'm not understanding you when you say we don't match up well with them.

I'll be surprised if North Carolina keeps it in single digits against a healthy Duke squad.

^ it certainly is, but Javin has really been good which eases the pain. The BIG IF is wether Jav can bring that consistency
