One notable: Minnesota has now joined the Top 25 at No. 23.

Minny is going to be a tough game. Very good QB and RB which will challenge our D.

It will be a challenge from an assignment and discipline standpoint. They don't have any athletes which we can't matchup with. What they have is patience, mental toughness and a commitment to the way they do things. They want to establish the LOS, run the ball and hit quick routes.

If we don't turn the ball over or have a bunch of defensive mental lapses we should be fine.

I think the 10-12 range is fair for this team. I won’t be as concerned about yesterday if they come out and do their business against an inferior conference foe next week. It’s a young team that will have emotional bursts and lulls (see #1 UGA). A lot of young kids are gaining valuable experience and on paper, they should be a legit top 10 team by the end of the season, with sky high expectations going into next year. That said, the mid season gauntlet is coming, and time will tell if they’re ready for it.

Pretty much entirely meaningless, given what's coming up for PSU ... after the Mich, Minny, OSU stretch, they could realistically be anywhere from top 3 at 8-0 to comfortably out of the top 25, at 5-3.

Don't sell Northwestern short either. This is not going to be an easy game.

Northwestern is 1-3, having lost to a mediocre FCS team and a mediocre MAC team, with their only win a close one against a very bad Nebraska squad. And we play them at home. Anything can happen on a given weekend, but it'd be a huge shock to lose that one.

NW has a solid RB in Hull. Problem is, he's about 60% of the offense. They'll likely employ the quick throw, dink and dunk passing game because it's been the most successful thing vs our defense so far.

They don't particularly defend anything well either. Most teams have been balanced against them.

Turnovers have been their bane. 10 total, 9 in the 3 losses.

I just don't see this as a good match-up for them. Diaz should scheme another multi turnover game. I think both our RBs break 100.

Honestly after Clemson @ #5 there is a huge drop off. I feel teams 6-20 are all about on the same playing field.

Michigan played absolutly no one until MD this weekend, and if MD could catch the opening KO they may have lost while Clemson get very luck to beat Wake Forest Saturday. There is a pretty big gap IMO between UGA, Bams and tOSU and everyone else. Not sold on scUM or Clem.

I agree to an extent. Honestly I feel it’s Georgia’s championship to lose. Then you have a slight drop off to bama and OSU. Then another with Michigan and Clemson, but my opinion I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. Then 6-20 are about all interchangeable for the most part.

Sorry, Clemson is not on that plane. They are just ridiculously overrated.
