What the hell, with our new facilities, I was sure we'd start out-recruiting those SEC schools....sorry, wrong board....Vandy with two top 15, 5 stars and the third kid in their class at 66.

Lol. Is Ash transferring from the College of Arts and Sciences to Medill?A
Ash? Mooney?
Vanderbilt has been to the NCAA Tournament 5 times in the last ten season. They made the Sweet 16 in 2007. They won the SEC Tournament in 2012. They're something to shoot for.
And yet last year they were 12-20. Even a "good program" can struggle.Vandy has Bryce Drew guiding the ship as well.
Good program.

Put this together as I was looking at it and sent to a friend, so thought I'd post it here too...
-Big Ten received no commits from the top 21 (best recruit per Rivals is a guy at 22 going to Maryland)
-Despite no one in the top 21, the Big Ten has 31 commits in the top 150
-The breakout by team is below. Based on just these rankings, I have ranked them in what I think the order is for this class just based on Rivals rankings (this is not based on eyeball test, other sources, etc.):
Maryland- 4 Top 150 Recruits, 3 Top 100 (#22, #39, #72, #128)
Michigan State- 3 Top 150 Recruits, All 3 Top 100 (#58, #62, #97)
Michigan- 3 Top 150 Recruits, All 3 Top 100 (#57, #85, #93)
Indiana- 4 Top 150 Recruits, 2 Top 100 (#49, #99, #114, #127)
Illinois- 3 Top 150 Recruits, 2 Top 100 (#28, #82, #149)
Northwestern- 3 Top 150 Recruits, 2 Top 100 (#63, #64, #133)
Ohio State- 3 Top 150 Recruits, 2 Top 100 (#67, #75, #142)
Iowa- 1 Top 100 Recruit (#41)
Minnesota- 1 Top 100 Recruit (#56)
Purdue- 2 Top 150 Recruits, 0 Top 100 (#117, #124)
Rutgers- 2 Top 150 Recruits, 0 Top 100 (#104, #132)
Penn State- 1 Top 150 Recruit (#140)
Nebraska- 0 Top 150 Recruits
Wisconsin- 0 Top 150 Recruits
Not confining myself to just Rivals ratings, you could take all the classes from MSU to OSU and rerank them any which way you wanted to. They are that close.Put this together as I was looking at it and sent to a friend, so thought I'd post it here too...

That’s better than pretty good; that’s Duke, Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas territory. Good for them.Bryce Drew is pretty good.
Gotcha! LolYou realize this rating is just for the 2018 recruits? Dang!!
Boy how Wisky has fallen. What is going on there? They were in the championship game not long ago.
I believe the key to their groundbreaking class is a local five-star guy who decided to stay home, ala Trae Young at Oklahoma. He's drawn the others and is an AAU friend of Romeo Langford, the still uncommitted 5-star PG Indiana fans are pining for.

At coaching? Or just recruiting?
They better because their recruiting class looks relatively weak. One guy has a couple other BIG offers and one has a Xavier offer but other than that all offers are MAC levelWisky should be a pretty decent team next year. Happ will be back, and his supporting cast was playing considerably better toward the end of last season.

Happ’s going pro.
He's testing the waters again, will not hire an agent. My bet is he returns for his final season at Bucky.Well, didn't see that. He'd better work on his shooting if he's going pro.
