Nah he’s injured. You missed where I pointed out he transferred but then texted one of his family members to find out why he didn’t go to the qualifiers. Did you read that? He has a shoulder injury break in the clavicle. But you make my point by expanding on perceived club duties. Having to be there when youre transfered in the beginning of august is a fallacy. Berhalter needs to call these guys like hoppe especially and vines if he was healthy. Forget about club they’re on hiatus. He babies these guys and is like a friend instead of a coach. Never seen so many people missing out on important matches from any national team like this.

you are wrong. They need to earn pt with their new clubs to stay sharp. They just made
The move. Hoppe in the same boat. This is universally accepted.

No it’s what Americans believe is universally accepted. Vines was going to be with the national team right now if not for injury. Hoppe should be. Berhalter shoulda put him on the roster. Sending mckennie back to Italy doesn’t punish him. It’s almost a reward. If you suspend a player they should be at the match in street clothes. Dude I’ve been doing this 25 years. Coaching (club, academy, college, 5A high school, training new coaches, recruiting, scouting, advising, I hold a ussf B license, a premier diploma from the NSCAA, a Dutch badge and a license through UEFA I’m not just a casual fan. Right now I am helping one of the women’s teams in Latin America prepare for next years U20 WC in Costa Rica, I also scout Latin America and am a conduit for players who fit into the college and academy systems)

I don’t want to be too critical of berhalter right now because he had enormous success this summer and he could get things right. But I have a gut feeling he is in panic mode now because a loss tomorrow will make qualifying very very difficult. Like I said before you don’t want to come into San José in the last qualifier having to win. It took a bs PK for Mexico to beat CR. The USA doesn’t want that position. A draw or loss tomorrow and USA will be in a terrible position.

you are wrong. This is the way other nationalities do it with young players who just made Moves.

Vines is a fringe national team player. Nice player, nowhere close to Robinson. Bello has a much higher ceiling.

Congrats on your credentials. They don’t make you correct on this issue.

So yedlin before vines? Are you kidding me? Get outta here dude. Seriously? How many minutes has bello logged in qualifying stage?? And yeah when it comes to who should be on this roster I’m 100% right i mean you’re the guy who said berhalter could have forced the euro players hands to be available for copa de oro. You’re a massive contradiction

Canadá showing everyone how poorly USA has played in the qualifiers. El Salvador is the worst team in this stage and that tie and tie at home to a decent Canadian side is gonna be difficult to get out of. Very sad for US soccer

Pepi is God.

The knives can be put away.

FFS Greggggg, dress for the GD job
He needs to wear a collared shirt. Quit looking like a scrub over there.

he did make some nice changes going into the second half and finally found a lineup to click. Well done very difficult to go to Honduras but also to comeback a goal down hopefully a major turning point.

Huh? I said Berhalter was correct to not call them in to build depth. And that worked.

Huge win!! I wanted Berhalter to stay in Honduras after the first half, and yes he needs to dress the friggin part, but the subs made all the difference in the world. Give him credit for that.

From a possible 7th place position at halftime to a T-2 I will take it.
Pepi with a goal and an assist. Looking forward to seeing this kid improve.
Now lets hope Pulisic doesn't have a serious injury.

GO USA!!!!

No Pulisic on the roster for this go round.

Excited to see how Richards does. Hopefully Acosta loses the damning evidence he has on Berhalter.

^ No Reyna either. Dropped Sargent.

I'm a little down on this roster with all but 8 players from 2nd rate leagues like MLS & smaller Euro leagues. But I know squat.

Sargent has been impotent regardless if we are being honest. Guy would be elite if he could finish.

There was a time not so long ago that a missing Pulisic and Reyna caliber player--and that tier is exclusively occupied by Donovan, Dempsey and maybe Claudio Reyna to some extent--would mean a big zero in points in a qualifying cycle. Or an out of form player like Sargeant would still get callups due to a briefly seen skill set that I'm not so sure exists.

...but pump some Aaronson, Pepi and Musah into my veins instead.

Came real close to T-7 with Pulisic on the field this last round. Slow your roll.

How’d you get them? Website says sale starts in 19 hours.

how much also and which vendor did you use?

Was curious on cost as well. Was looking at tickets for Costa Rica match in Columbus and face value for not so great seats was 140.00 😮

Just looked at Ticketmaster and its 95% resale tickets and cheapest so far is 420.00

Has there been a true public sale yet.....or did the demand not allow it to get to that point.

There won’t be a public sale.

Everything was done via lottery to FC Cincinnati STH and US Soccer Insiders

Just found out Section W2 is in the "Cincinnatus Club"

Nice that they are covered and don't have to wait in line for drinks or bathrooms

someone versed in this ish.... Im new to Futball ... played American Football in college (went to watch US team vs Canada in Nashville)...

how is Daryl Dike not on this team right now?? Maybe i dont know the nuances... but if Pulisic and Reyna out, I think Dike is a top 3 player on US team... hes not even on roster... someone smarter than me explain this (other than injury... hes been back for Orlando for a while)...

Game played last night here in ATX at Q2 Stadium located roughly 2.5 miles from our place. Nice goals by 18 year-old Ricardo Pepi from El Paso.

Haven't seen that much soccer but of all the USMT matches, don't recall when they were that aggressive and that quick on counter.

Really like Dest and Robinson. Both are comfortable delivering the ball and pushing the offense.

Arreola, can't help it, is a pestering son *****. Forced at least 3 turnovers right in front of their box.

Wish they left Pepi in to get the HT. Stud in the making.

Fun team to watch.
