Looks like we replaced the 3rd inning for the 1st inning today as the giveaway inning. 3-0 SC.

6-0 after 3 1/2 innings. I wonder if we have an answer or even a conversation?

Did we do the fan thing and overestimate this team? They may be reaching what they had originally predicted for the place in the SEC. The fact that USC was supposed to be a poor hitting team and have just pounded us is what is discouraging me.

You have given up 27 runs in 2 1/2 games to a team that doesn't have a .280 hitter in the lineup!😤👎🏾

I don’t know. I think this team is about what I thought they would be. I think we were fooled a little bit after the start. Starting 5-1 in conference gave a little hope. But it’s been a complete train wreck ever since.

How can you overestimate a team with a total moron as a coach? This is what they are, what they have been and always will be under Ming.

For those who may not have seen it, I encourage you to check out Comebakatz3’s post in the thread re the Senior Day game about staff decision as to the players allowed to go through Senior Day and the predictable effect. Believe it’s post #28 in that thread.

Not just that. This Gamecock team was 13th in the conference in batting average. And has scored 31 runs in three games. That is completely inexcusable.
That stems from continually pitching behind. Seems like they're 2-0, 3-1 to every hitter. Pitching coaches harp about "getting ahead" and "trust your stuff." Everybody knows that....knowing and doing are two different things. To pitch at this level is tough, you have to have a short memory and have thick skin. Some days you're the windshield, some days you're the bug.

This team quit after the Florida game that we should of won.
It certainly appears like it. I thought last Saturday’s game would fire them up going forward but seems like the opposite has occurred. Next weekend at Vandy is going to be rough.

Last season UNC Wilmington swept this team AT KPP ..
That was one of the last series of the season also.

Getting swept by USC and not being competitive with them is unacceptable. They are a good team, but we should have still been competitive. Like I said, we're not getting better as the season progresses.
When It’s time dig deep you can’t / there’s nothing there when the team morale is as low as this ones is. And that starts and ends at the very top. Who is his “Monday Motivations With Minge “ for ? Certainly he dosnt know how to motivate his players, they just spanked at home And swept in season defining series at home.

Supposedly, Mitch gave this extension for recruiting, but after this weekend and the way the season is going to end , he needs to bite the bullet and put an end to this. Surely he has options in his pocket and if not, I'm sure we can give him some!🤔😁.
I'm sorry, but I just believe (know) that there are enough fans out there that would support a serious bb program at UK...attending every game at the regionals in 17 sold me on that. One of the most exciting UK events I've been to.

Hoping MB has Bakich on speed dial.

Erik Bakich at Michigan. Been there since 2012. He is absolutely my first and top choice if a change is made.
Think I may have mentioned Michigan in an earlier post about surrounding schools of UK that were doing well. Roger Williams would be my first pick.

I like Williams. He remains a question on how he'd do as a head coach, and he seems to not have that ambition. Still, I'd love to see UK take the gamble on him.
