Running out of scholarships. They just got Josh Falo and I was under the impression that prior to his commit they only had two scholarships available...... USC message board from TOS seems to confirm this.

Could we be getting Johnson or Lewis?

Please Baby Jesus. Even better, they tell Johnson they are out of room, which pisses Lewis off and we get both...... Seriously though, I'm sure they make room for them somehow.

The USC rivals site shows who has signed and it shows Stephen Carr and a few others have yet to sign... unless it has not been updated as well as our site... of course it isn't quite noon there yet!

This was part of the news that was swirling this morning which was tied to the rumors that Oyemaobi was told that we were out of room and thus he was considering TCU. Once again, just NSD rumors.

According to their podcast last night, they had 6 scholarships available with 5 guys penciled in which included Lewis and Johnson. Falo was expected to go to Oregon.

Was he the only unexpected one? If so they would still have room for both, right?

This was this morning. To my understanding this tweet referred to Lewis, Johnson, Falo, Austin Jackson, and Jay Tuefele. All have committed to USC except Johnson and Lewis up to this point.

So take a boosters kid with the last spot and send both to Nebraska.

What happens if they over sign? Do they cut someone loose who is not producing or do they have to cut one who signed today or call someone and tell them not to sign?

My guess is they'll pull an Alabama-- someone will have to leave school due to a parking ticket in 11th grade, or someone who isn't injured will all of a sudden be on medical hardship. They'll find room. Just a guess.

I would be shocked if they don't "find room".

Agreed. It would be surprising if they don't make room. There does seem to be some smoke though.
