These commentators really like our team and seem to know about our depth. Pretty impressive.

USF is a train wreck.

I remember when Bartow's dad coached a Memphis State back in the MVC days.

They're not going to have bigs left by end of the game. Santos has 3 with 6:32 left in 1st half.

Also we've made 6/12 from 3pt in 1st 13:30 of game time

Also by 13:30 of game time all 11 players who have checked in have at least 1 point. Makes it VERY difficult to guard us offensively when everyone can get points.

Atson looks MUCH more comfortable in man. Nice slap at the ball to force USF to reset and good job by Artison to play strong in the post to force shot clock violation

The only problem Birt ever has is shot selection. Sometimes it's just wtf. Never want him to stop taking good looks though

The officials look barely qualified to call an 8th grade intramural game. I've only seen the last 5 minutes of the game but it seems really disjointed with fouls being called at an NBA rate. There is no fun for players and no fun for fans in that.

53 fouls for the game. I don't ever want to see this crew again

The bald ref is one of the better officials we have had this year.

Was he the one with Steed and the older ref I hate? He called a fair game when we played Memphis. Steed had some iffy calls but was not so egregious. The other guy needs to be put out to pasture. I am convinced he feels the game is about him.

Yeah I think he was in the Memphis game with Big Z. He's on top of things and has a sense of humor. The other bald ref we get a lot, I call Moby ref, is also decent but has no sense of humor at all.

If you look at the play-by-play the last field goal for either team was with three min left. Don't know if that is due to USF fouling to get back in the game or lack of flow/"over reffing".

My memory is fuzzy about that name....Gene Bartow as I remember coached
at UCLA, then had a long run at UAB.....Didn't he have more than one NCAA
team at UAB? Mostly with Birmingham kids....That was a BB hot spot when
the steel mills were going.....

Mike Anderson played for the Juco there....They played against Nolan's team
in the finals at Hutchinson for the national championship.....That's how Nolan
found him.....I lived in Derby, Ks. (Wichita 'burb) at the time and saw the game...
