There is good and bad with Jurgen, but when it is all said and done, people will want results now, not later. I am not sure he survives if USMNT struggles with qualifying.

So, not even care about how our younger players perform? Not care about style of play?

yeah, let's just not watch unless it's the world cup

I think he means not to worry, but yeah trying out different ideas/player positions and whatever is what friendlies are for.

Yep. Friendlies are really just exhibitions to sell tickets. If you're going to play around with formations and give fringe/young players a chance to get minutes in a match setting, it's going to be there as opposed to in an actual competition where points are at stake.

This is fun just to see that people write about this in February. I live in Houston and have seen the academies concept up close. I think that being like the rest of the world isn't the response to everything. But our children need to have better training at a young age. Foot skills can be taught. And movements are a chess match. Oh--and you can tell the real sports fan by knowing whether they know who Leicester City is.

Jurgen has been great at finding talent and convincing dual nationals to join the U.S. However, he hasn't put players in a position to succeed on the field. He puts players out of position and doesn't let partnerships build chemistry by consistently playing a select squad.

Don't take these two February friendliest seriously. We went 2-0-0 with Bradley and Jozy the only sure starters along with half a u23 team (some of those won't even make the Olympic qualifying squad in March).

In March we will see the full player pool in Klinsmann's eyes (outside of injuries and likely Jermaine Jones). Hoping Eric Lichaj and Jorge Villafana are called in for the national team as Brooks and Yedlin will be in the u23 squad. There's also a lot of good young talent with Christian Pulisic, Desevio Payne and Ethan Horvath, to go with several others, that will be on the u23 squad (my hope). Also, if you've given up on Green (he was overhyped and shouldn't have been on the WC squad) don't get excited about Jerome Kiesewetter. He's two years older and on Stuggart's second team, much like Green. Look for Kiesewetter to move to MLS in the summer.
