No Neymar & Cavani, & PSG still out-claased MU at OT. Impressive.

Not sure why Spurs favored over BD. We'll see.

PSG looked like an Bayern from the mid 2000's with Robben and Ribery in their prime. Extremely disciplined defensively, maintained their shape, bossed the midfield and hit on the counter with lethal speed and skill. I loved watching Angel Di Maria having a go at Man U fans. They did him wrong. And screw Man U!

Porto has Roma right where they want them. Got the away goal and now head back to Porto which is an extremely tough place to play.

United's back line needs repair. Ashley Young needs to go. Valencia is already done. Yet, they sign extensions for him and Phil Jones.

Tottenham be sneakkky.

But its also important to realize Dortmund was missing Reus, Alcacer, and Delaney.. Still an uphill climb. Son is so good man. He nice.

Real Madrid won but i think against a better opponent they will be exposed.

My UCL Rankings as of today:

1) PSG
2) Juve
3) Barca
4) City
5) Liverpool

I thought I saw Delaney was in the 18 yesterday (I didn't see the game however), but knew Reus and Alcacer were out. I guess that meant they had Goertze in a False 9 where I think he is just false in general as an attacker. Reus makes a huge difference.

Son is a really cagey attacker; he is like how Arena used to describe Dempsey's skill as "just trying s^&t". Son does things on the fly that you don't see from other players.

Huge win for Newcastle. Getting safer and safer each week. Watched PSGs last 5 games. There's a young french kid on their squad they keep saying they're gonna sell....kid named Christopher Nkunku. They better not. Kid has the technical ability and finishing of a winger with the skill and.vision of a midfielder. Plays CM with the pace of a winger . Just picks the ball up and leaves dudes in the dust. If they sell I hope arsenal is interested.

Last 25 minutes of 1H killer for FCC. Otherwise, not too bad. Long way to go. Announcers were right that getting high balls into Adi in middle for layoffs looks the best way for them to score at this point. Right side D needs a LOT of work. Thought Bertone & Powell looked good.

Wow,

PSG does it again....

I just dont understand what is behind this... I mean its not money. Plenty of that. It cant be the coach really because this has now happened under Unai and Tuchel. and PSG need to figure it out soon to keep Neymar and Mbappe. Sad thing is Man U didn't earn any of the goals. Completely dominated the game IMO. Ah well

I am pulling for Lyon over Barca and Atletico Madrid over Juve.

would be crazy to see Real Madrid, Barca and Juve out first round. Im all abord the AJAX hype train. Best stadium in europe and I have always loved the Oranje

The crazy thing for me is the handling of the Rabiot situation. Rabiot is a fantastic talent. A midfielder who can really play defense and get forward and provide service and goals. You have a sporting director who wants him to play and a upper managment and owner saying no because he wants to leave. All this for a team that has injuries that are forcing you to play a CB in Marquinhos at CDM.

Speaking of offensive MidFers, what think of FCC getting Saief?

It is huge for them. Adding him and getting Cruz and Garza healthy will completely change the outlook of the squad.

They aren't going to be a contender, but they won't be as awful as they were in the opener.

Really need to work on that transition D.

What the Netherlands National Team & Ajax have in common, don't know. Certainly not team colors.

The have a lot of dutch promising players. I like the dutch. Big RVP fan and big Cruyff fan. Also root for them (them being the Dutch) because my first team that turned me onto soccer was AC Milan with the likes of Van Basten, Gullitt, and Rijkaard...I really like the way Ajax plays. Reminds me of the AS Monaco team a few years back. Extremely gifted going forward. I like an underdog. Other than that, not much i admit.

Agree with Wildcat Willy, Garza will really help our back line. Cruz is a much needed playmaker that will be better. Saief is in that same vein. Adi is the type of striker that needs a ton of service. Adding Kenny and getting Cruz back will help so much.

I also hate the scheduling on MLS's part. Why on earth would you give your new expansion team @ Seattle, @ Atlanta, Portland their first 3 games? Talk about baptized by fire.

@vhcat70 Speaking of the Dutch, they are a team I really cannot wait to see in Euro Qualifying and even the euros. Had some issues with the qualification of the last euros and were very unlucky to not qualify for the world cup but I think it may be good for them in the end. Allowed them to really develop the youth. They responded great in Nations league by winning the group of them, Germany and France and beat both 3-0 and 2-0 while both played their A teams.

A lot of young talent. But oddly enough its on the defensive side where most lies. De Ligt, Virgil, de Jong, de Vrij, Ake Then you have a ton of attacking youthful talent in Depay, Babel, Wijnaldum, Promes, Bergwjin, Van de Beek, De Roon, Stengs, Kluivert, Danjuma Groenevald.

Will be interesting to see how they play against England and for Euro Qualification. They're very athletic up front and I am glad to see Depay deployed as a Striker, which is think is his best position.

He answered that question today in limited time. Great pass.

After first 20 minutes, the B&O looked quite competitive & were taking it to ATl the last 20 minutes or so. Adi so close though think right call. ATL looked pretty lifeless once they got lead. What's with that? Anybody on last year's team get in? Didn't see/hear any.

Spencer Richey was in goal the entire game. He was the only player from last year (other than Adi) who played. Bone was the only other one who was active.

Garza and Saief came in and changed the game.

Atlanta has some issues right now. They should be much better.

I think as the year goes on the FCC lineup is going to really evolve. I think Adi is still getting into proper fitness and is learning his spots. Greg Garza is slowing going to integrate back into full fitness as well. I really like Roland Lamah. Kekutah Manneh is going to be a key player as well as Saeif and Darren Mattocks as well as Cruz.

For me its going to be interesting to see how they get the best 11 on the pitch with so many sharing positions. Saief, Mattocks, Lamah, Manneh, Cruz are all kind of the same position. I wonder if any can convert to more of a CAM.

No surprise that since BBS's stupid *** decided to just quit on Arsenal, they've turned the corner and are now the front runners for 3rd, as they have no more matches against the Top 6.

I had my moment of frustration lol. Still dont like Kroenke. Cant get on with Man City the way they are corrupt and cheat with FFP. Still like Pep. Arsenal still has a way of screwing things up though. Their home form is great but they have b2b away games against Everton and Watford which could be tricky. Will be interested in seeing how they approach Europa League now though. That Man U game was the first game in forever Unai played Aubameyang, Lacazette, Ozil and Ramsey all at the same time.

Ronaldo's push in the back with his forearm foul, not called, on his first header goal was way more severe than the PK touch foul against Atletico.

FCC is going to be missing Waston, Cruz (Costa Rica) and the 2 Jamaicans vs New England because they will be playing for their national teams.

I haven't heard anything about the severity of Adi's injury.
