It’s a bold move. I worry that he gets stuck on the bench during a key phase of development…but it would be great if he can crack the lineup and play every week in the Prem at this age.

In regards to Cavan, there's a bit of debate online going on about him. Two things can be true at the same time: 1) he needs voices speaking into his life to keep reminding him about humility and earning everything (a la, what Poch recently said), and 2) the UMSNT really desperately needs a kid who is bursting with confidence, who wants to try stuff and does it, who attacks the ball with menace and no apologies, and believes he can make a genuine difference against the best competition.

Really like this squad. Nice mix of young guys getting their first chance, and experienced guys to learn from over the two weeks. Several names that I'm excited to see play. And also glad we're not pushing Pulisic and giving him a few weeks to get fully healthy and not wearing him out.

Disappointing...I think he's one of those dual-nationals whose decision is a difference maker (ie Rossi, Balogun, etc).
