lolol

He wasnt done playing and was a key starter

He was suspended last year

You guys must buy tin foil in bulk

Better than buying drugs in bulk.

i think several posters were asking if the injury ended his year, making the suspension superfluous.

"Look, we do suspend starters".

So where's the justice for the junkie you just kicked off? Of course, he probably was done anyway. Don't need him anymore, throw him away.

Color me not surprised.
They released him from the hospital and he flew back with the team. Yes they carried him off the field but they just wanted to be careful. How do you know he could not play anymore after he took that hit..

Sure do look at Hatcher. Really surprised me that he was even allowed on this team. Oh and the QB smacking his girlfriend around. I just can't understand why he was even allowed on this team.

well, serious question, how did jones or UT find out there was a problem with drugs in his system? I just don't understand how HIPPA allows access to his records!
Humm, maybe he had to take a drug test once he got back in Knoxville, I don't know. I never read or saw anyplace where he had drugs in his system.

He'd probably be out for Bama due to concussion protocols but be there gir the rest.

if we didn't dismiss him you'd be just as mad.

Your hate blinds you

"if you can't beat em, make them seem immoral"
That is some of our fan bases' mantra

They haven't needed any help with being immoral for decades.

Was the millions they spent on the settlement the best bargain in years, why did they do that anyway, have you read anything about it since then.

You are really reaching, do you really know anything about either situation. BOTH critical players never played another down for UK, Hartline should NOT have been suspended, IMO. Probably cost a bowl win, I blame mitch for that fiasco.

I heard Hatcher was speeding down the road after a visit to his home in Louisville and he got stopped and had Marijuana in the car with him. He was going back to Lexington.

I knew you would be the person to react to my statement.
And I get your drift - UT has seemingly covered up some really scummy behaviors to keep guys on the field.

All I'm saying is that playing the "morality" card is getting old while being beat to death on the field year after year is getting old. I don't want to sell my soul - but dang it - I want to win sometime.

Passing on coaches with proven records because of 'taking the higher ground" is so ironic - we took a risk hiring Cal for BB, but we couldn't hire Petrino for football - smh

I heard today that he may have been dismissed because he was arrested at a party. Just a rumor, cannot confirm or deny the validity of it.

So has KY and every other college across the country. Jauk is mad because during TN worst years, KY still can't beat them. TN also beat KY in basketball sometimes.

I find it amusing you'd come here seeking approval from us, the Great Unwashed of SEC fans.

BTW, see you've dumped 2 more players today, one a commit. Botch must have more malcontents lined up, I'm sure the school's coeds will appreciate that.

They call it the Fulmer Cup because of Phat Phils morals and ethical standards for the student athlete.

I was following you until you put Cal and BP in the same sentence.

And winning at ANY cost isn't for me, contract killers make a lot of money.

How much you betting on the bb game this year?

I am mad because our two biggest rivals cheat like hell and the joke of a NCAA does nothing about it-------THUG U has decades of practice but TRANSFER U is catching up fast, look at the latest poll

Were you in favor of using millions of education money to buy offf the rape victims, great bargain IMO, have not heard a peep since, have you.

Got the real scoop...

This guy had dirt on a teammate raping a coed. The flight back gome after nearly breaking his neck was so they could beat up on wounded prey. He got the message.

LOL! And KY does nothing. I bet KY beats TN this year in Basketball, however I'm not MAD about it. I don't go around telling everyone that KY Cheats every chance I get. Calling the mighty VOLS THUG U.. I would say KY needs to look at themselves, and you need to look at them as well. Look at all the colleges around the country. You may live longer.. You going to give yourself a heart attack. Lighten up a little bit. KY going to beat TN in Basketball and it's no skin off my back.. TN going to beat KY in Football and it's no skin off my back. LOL!!!

He was done playing so they can make an example out of him...had it been Dobbs, Hurd, Barnett or a few others he would still be playing...If Jones loses to Bama their season has been a bust..For 4 years down here we have heard them talk that this is the year to win it all....They have won 4 games on sheer luck....almost lucked out last week...If they lose to Bama but somehow make the SEC championship game and lose to Bama again and then lose to someone like Louisville in the Sugar bowl....the season has been a disaster...they lose basically this whole team and recruiting has been solid but not championship caliber the last two years...if next year they fall back to a 7-8 win team ole Butch is toast.
They only have 11 seniors and maybe at most 4 go to the draft early - Barnett, Hurd, Kamara and Malone. That leaves all but 1 OL not to mention the 3 RS plus all the wideouts minus Malone, all the TE's minus Croom and they have three 4 star QB's sitting behind Dobbs. With O'Brien gone, will only lose 2 sr DE's plus Barnett. Still have 5 who were high 3 star or 4 star in depth plus 2 RS. Have played most of the year without Reeves-Maybin and still won 5 games and will have all the other LB's back plus have played since first half of 3rd game without Sutton so will only lose Foreman so rest of depth which has had to play at times will be back. Not to mention the #8 class in country with still some very good prospects on the line. So, no, UT is not losing it's entire team by far and will be even deeper on the DL than now. BTW you also realize that those lucky wins came against 3 teams who were either ranked or now ranked in the top 25 when we beat them. 3 & 1 against top 25 teams ain't a bad record for anyone.

It is pretty unclassy how UT shuns players who try and do the right thing.

If this wasnt obviously made up, it would fit right in with standard operating procedure for tennessee.. i mean, it wouldnt be the first time would it mr. High horse?
