UT loses starting RT to knee injury

I hate UT with every fiber of my being, but I don't want to see a single one of their players injured.

Dobbs is really the only reason that Jones is still employed there. He came in and saved Jones. Another QB could do just as well, but Dobbs has really carried them with his ability to run the ball.

Considering how UT dives at opponents knees its hard for me to feel bad about them, worst team in the SEC.
This is spot on. They were struggling pretty bad at the time with the other QB who was ahead of Dobbs. They weren't sure Dobbs was ready but he stepped right in and saved that season and probably Jones job.
lol UT has hurt one of our players on a tackle to the knee - a play that every CB in the world makes.
News flash - Corners don't like to take on 220 pound RBs head on, and typically cut them at the knees - it's not dirty play but just football.

Once again you are incorrect in your correcting of me, they ended Marcus Lattimores career, they took out Keith Marshall's knee and they took out Chubb's knee. Then there is the fact when we played in the cow pasture they call a football fied the ruts in the surface and grass about ankle deep took out Wesley Scott's knee and injured Michael Bennett's. The grass was to slow down our speed advantage, an old trick, and the ruts was from a concert they had and didn't bother to fill.
When you decide to correct me again, at least be right and then you won't look as you say, dumb. But its everytime, a normal person would have starting stalking and correcting someone else by now.

It's funny that you would chastise someone for "correcting yourself" when you youself is completely wrong in this matter. Go to youtube and watch the Lattimore injury and decide if our corner intentionally took out his knee. He didn't. Laatimore planted with his right foot at just the same time our cb hit him, and his leg had zero "give" and no way to push his leg to a side etc. Terrible injury but not intentional. Lattimore said later himself that it was a clean hit. The same could be said for Chubbs injury - just planted and then hit. The Ga hit on our dl last year (Shy Tuttle) was different in that the Ga lineman hit hit him from behind (Tuttle was chasing the runner downfield). In both cases against UT the runner was running toward the tackler and a fre ak tackle occurred. Those are the facts - liok at the videos.
So what's the bounty UT's paying nowadays to take out a top RB/QB/WR? Was $100 under Fulmer, inflation must've pushed it to $500 now.
The hit to the knee on Marshall was an open field tackle and was right on the side of the knee and I'd call that one iffy for sure.
Chubb...I'm lost on that one. He landed out of bounds and planted his foot and his leg just buckled in an ugly fashion...what did UT do on that one?
Go youtube and look at Chubbs injury- his injury occurred as he was coming down in the air and his leg planted in the grass and his body's momemtum just crumpled his knee. The UT defender didn't even have contact on his knee,although he shoved him at thechest level.

Chance Hall just had his knee scoped and should only miss 4 to 6 weeks so he will likely miss the first 2 or 3 games.
Not sure where the stuff about Butch Jones covering up rapes is coming from. That was never even a topic of discussion in this case. It was how the school handles a title IX investigation. The girls involved never even accused the school of trying to cover up anything so I am not sure where you are getting your info. As many national analysts have stated numerous times this case was nothing like Baylors.
The school settled because it would have cost two and a half times more to litigate the case than to settle.

Funny how we play 7 or so home games on the same field and don't have the problems with the knee injuries. Chubb didn't even get hit below the waist. He was pushed out of bounds and landed awkwardly.
