I've never seen a more over rated #1 in my life.

Wins by 9 vs UofL in Nov, arguably their best win. Cruises through the fist half of a laughable SEC schedule ( still hasn't faced UK) but for some reason they're ranked #1. Writers must think this is football season).

Sweet 16 at best once they have to face some real teams at best. Tallest midget in the room playing basketball in a football conference.

They beat Gonzaga but none of the other wins are all that great. They are probably more like fringe top 10 team than a #1 team. Good team though, will be interesting to see how they stack up with UK when they play.

It’s Duke and everybody else. Duke may not win it all, but they are the only great team.

Duke may not win it all precisely because they aren't a great team. They have 2 great players and 2 more very good players. However, they have a fatal flaw, they cant shoot and 3 if their top players play the same position. I dont think they can overwhelm 6 straight good teams to win the title. I hope we play them again in the tourney.

As for EweT, yes, they are overrated. I'd put them top 5 but not #1.

Duke is not a great team, at least in the historical sense of the term. One injury or foul trouble would expose a lack of depth in short order. They are IMO the best team in the country this year with about ten very good teams who can be legitimate threats for the FF.

Tennessee is #1 because it makes a good story, I think they will get bumped in the round of 16.

They are #1 in polls because that’s how polls work. If you lose you drop. They haven’t lost since an early game against duke.

Now the computer rating are a different story and I don’t think Tennessee is #1 in any of them
