Tristen Moran has a Fall. However possible bad news as Lewallen injury defaulted 1:14 into the match. Did not watch the match so do not know what happened however he was leading 7-0 in first match and ended up winning only 7-4 so possibly injured in that match.

Joe Smith wins his 2nd match 10-0 tf. Flo is very maddening as they are not showing names only showing Red or blue. Have to go to track to see who is wrestling and then back to Flo-missed several matches that way.
hate my guy boo is inj again. when i went up to watch them practice last year john said boo would be alright if he can stay inj free but that has been the story of his life so far. i pray its not to serious and he can get over the hump physically and mentally again..

Lincoln Olson is loses by tf 10-0 to Mitch McKee. In the next round Gfeller wrestles @2 seed Seth Gross . Piccinnini will wrestle #2 seed Austin Assad.

Yianni the defending cadet world champ goes down. Loses to the same kid that beat Kaid at border wars from Missouri.
Daton Fix with a 10-0 tf over Williams of Nebraska who was a 3X state champion in Nebraska and is a freshman at Cornhusker U.
Pic in his first freestyle tournament ever has a dominant 11-8 win over #2 seed Austin Assad who is a 2x Fargo champion and a freshman at Michigan. I have to leave for the next hour and a half so no updates from me until then.

Smith gets pinned by Joseph in the 2nd period on a throw attempt by Joe. Joseph was the aggressor and all Joe seemed to want to do was work counters. Joe went on the 30 second clock and tried a body lock throw and Joseph out horsed him to his back for the pin.

Joe was ahead of Joseph 4-2 in 2nd when he tried a body lock which Joseph used to take Smith straight to his back for the fall. Pretty even match up to then. John had a four point move in the first and Joseph had a low single takedown in the first.
In consos Wyatt Sheets has had two straight tech falls 10-0 including one over Josh Maruca of AZ State who was seeded #2.
When I thought I had a pending apt I forgot about the Gfeller match. He was pinned by #2 seed Gross. Andrew Marsden just lost by tech fall to #2 seed Lance Benick12-1. Semis are scheduled to start this afternoon at 5PM.

Joe did not look hurt to me I guess it was the finals or nothing. Certainly not encouraging results for the Oklahoma kids today.
I thought he ( Smith) hurt his knee some on the first takedown by the penn. st. guy. I don't know if I have ever seen a wrestler worse at reacting to someone shooting on this legs than Marsden. He is funky though and scores with throws or exposures.

Marsden has a long way to go to be a contender no doubt about that but he is fun to watch. I missed the first part of Joes match trying to get the track app to open but Joe was not acting like he was hurt other than not shooting just working counters. I thought Joe looked a bit undersized at this weight but I suppose that is normal with the new weight classes as wrestlers have to either bulk up or cut since they cut down the number of weight classes in international wrestling.
Fix takes the championship with a 6-5 win over Teasdale. He had three takedowns to one for Teasdale.
I did not think Smith looked hurt at all. Give it up to Joseph for a great match. I thought Joseph looked sharper than Smith the entire match. Smith hit a four point throw on a takedown attempt by Joseph for his only points. Joseph looked clearly the aggressor.
he looked like he tweaked his knee the first take down by the psu wrestler. you can see he tried to fight not to give up a takedown but then he just gave it up after he felt a little uncomfort. he had a grimace on his face as well. he fought through it but at the end of the match you could see him walk off the mat with a little gimp.
