I was going to say we don't need to foul but Va Tech is really bad at the foul line it helps

Our bench players really stepped up especially McMahon and the team did great at the foul line.

Awesome win. I had no idea that Va Tech had lost to UofL in the last 14 (now 15) attempts - since 1991.

That’s an impressive stat for the Cards.

I like Ryan...
He knows he can shoot (best shooter on team) and he knows his role. Not a great defender due to his height and weight BUT he tries and that is all I can ask of him. Man, if we did not have him...we be up creek without a paddle.

I agree. And I loved how the guys recognized he was hot and they were looking to him. You can tell this team has chemistry.

I remember in the UNC game ( the one we won) Ryan was open in the corner and we got the ball to him. The whole UNC fan base just moaned and he knocked down a 3.

On that last 3 by McMahon that Sutton gave him a dribble hand off, Sutton who usually goes to the basket for a rebound, just turned his back and headed up court knowing that McMahon was going to make it.
