Should be an interesting game tonight. InsideNU reports that their leading scorer has mono and is out:
If NU beats Creighton tonight it will be an amazing win given that NU are playing Valpo.I was just wondering...if we beat Creighton tonite, will it be a quality win?? Like the four other chances we had this year but lost all of them? Are they a legit tourney possible team? What conference are they in and will they get in the ncaa tourney by winning the subset conference or with an at-large bid like us last year?? Thanks for any insights?
Their conference is decent (#8 RPI) but the only bubble contenders in it are Northern Iowa and Loyola. Valpo is rebuilding and lost their best player. They’re likely to finish 75-100 which is good but wouldn’t be a quality resume win for us under the new tier metrics.I was just wondering...if we beat Creighton tonite, will it be a quality win??
