Didn’t realize he had entered the portal. He’s a nice addition to their team, and fits their style really well.
So I guess this means Barnes is returning to once again not make another Final Four?

That's what I've been waiting on for the last couple of years but then they go and land Jakobi Gillespie. That guy is good, and he most likley will be better version of Ziegler.
Hopefully they don't land any wings worth a **** because JG is only going to be there one year.
What I'd like is for Barnes to retire.
When he does they most likley go back into the wilderness, at least for a little while anyways.

I have said Tennessee was gonna drop for several seasons, but it ain't happened.
Same. I thought for sure Barnes would hang it up after this year. The guy is getting up there.
Him, Izzo, and Patino are probably the oldest active coaches I can think of off the top of my head.
Knecht, Lanier, and Gillespie all stated going to Tennessee to prefect their defense was the biggest factor in choosing Tennessee.
When he leaves they almost assuredly don't get guys like that without eating up a ton of their NIL money.
Tennessee will always be a solid team with Barnes around
I hate this. I wanted that guy since I saw him early in the year. Dude is a player and is Vernon Carey’s brother so there’s clearly a lot of talent there.
