vandy was clearly the better team. The tight end dropped a wide open TD for Vandy on that last drive. The same way we gift wrapped them the win last season they did the same in return for us this season. Stoops has never been so happy in his entire life when that tight end dropped the ball. May have saved his job.

UK was the better team, that was obvious. Defense held them to 6 points. Offense just grinded it out. Pretty obvious we have zero passing game right now. Zero. Won't beat Miss St without being able to throw it. At least I don't think we can.

Gifts are not recovering a muffed punt inside your own 10 yard line. A gift is having and easy punt block and totally missing the ball. We were the only team handing out gifts. Enjoy the win. Damn.

It's funny. He was very opposite himself in one thread defending Johnson. Since I pointed it out he's been full on attack in the other direction. Maybe just a coincidence.
Always glad to get a win but Like I said before the game. It would come down to who executes a little better and who gets the breaks. That was UK tonight. These teams are pretty even.

This win was nothing to be excited about (except that it's an SEC win), but i disagree that Vandy was clearly the better team. Both teams were bad, and I think UK may be a bit better than them.

-If Boom doesn't fumble for an easy TD...I don't think Vandy could generate much of anything adn we were up 14 at that time.
-If we fall on a simple punt muff...we score and go back up 2 scores...again Vandy showed no offense
-If we don't have a walkon on punt team we block an easy punt snap fumbled.
And finally, if the TE catches the ball...it's a tie game. UK could have just as easily won in overtime.

a win is a win, especially in conference but this should've been a blow out.
Vandy is resilient, they don't give up but our guys need to learn how to step on the other teams throat when we have a lead.

He wanted UK to lose as it's more fun for him to make fun of our program and possibly see a coaching change than to win a meaningless game. We have alot of fans just like he/she/it.
3 point Vegas spread. Vandy has a very respectable defense. Was never expected to be a blowout. Take the win and keep improving
Certainly wasn't a pretty win but it still counts. It's gonna be difficult from here on out to get many more unless the qb situation is improved. It still kills me how some on hard think they know everything and if you support the team you're accepting mediocrity. If Stoops can get them to a bowl game then I think he's done a helluva coaching job especially after the piss poor start to the season. If he does that then next year will be the year to decide his future I believe. People bitching because we won't win 9 or 10 games this year are ridiculous. It's been over 30 yrs since we've had a team do that. A bowl game this season I think will be show that's the direction we're hopefully moving in.
Usually if a team is clearly better they don't trail for almost the entire game while never maintaining a lead.

I want Coach Stoops to win all of the games that are left, but I doubt he will. I also believe he should be fired if he doesn't win 6 games, but he won't be, but that's fine, if that's what Barnhart wants. I will say, I have seen improvement in the team. I hope that continues.
