OK, on to the Commodores. This is a team that got better as the season went on. Early, they lost at home to Patriot League champ Bucknell. They lost to Butler on a neutral court by 10, lost to Minny by 4 on another neutral court, lost to Dayton @UD by 5, but beat a good Florida team three times.
The aren't terribly big, they have a 7 foot guy but he is a stretch 4 and shoots 3's. Very experienced, all Seniors and Juniors.
Vandy shoots 3's. Almost have of their FG attempts are from distance. They go 9 deep but only have 7 guys scoring more than 2 points a game. They finished last in the SEC in rebounding, but 4th in points allowed.
Good match-up for NU.
