What is Louisville getting in Vangelis Zougris?

Louisville lands one of the best offensive rebounding bigs in Europe currently, The 2004-born 6’8” 250 pound Greek big has been an absolute force in both Fiba youth competitions and in Greece.

He’s fantastic in the dunker’s spot, strong vertical athlete, he’s an ultra competitor, a motor that never seems to stop. For Louisville as they needed depth, they get a kid who’s going to earn minutes from effort and grit.

Obviously still hoping Aly is eligible but with Zougris, Fru, Pryor, and Camara, the front court is feeling more shored up and solid.

Absolutely; it is pretty evident that our appeal process for Ali will be successful. What is strange is the initial decision to question his eligibility in the first place.

When you say the NCAA made the decision everyone automatically knows it wasn't a thought out process. They probably have an automated denial process like insurance companies.
