I really like the team COK has put together talent with a chip on their shoulder mentality.
I think after playing some of the more physical teams early last season, CPK saw the need for some bruisers with some beef especially on the inside to compliment the more finesse bigs. Zougris and Fru should be able to help out there.
This guy is exactly what we needed. A big body who is physical but isn’t expecting big minutes. We have scorers and playmakers already. We need a defender/rebounder in case of foul trouble and this guy is just that.
There were so many good candidates out there when Josh started his search for HC hire, that looking back at that point in time, I had no clue as to just how perfect Pat Kelsey was for UL. Obviously every program must have the money to even participate in NIL for talent, but Pat is the one identifying the candidates that best fit his requirements to execute his style.
To your point Shadow Force, Zougris and Fru were both intentional selections that will provide one of the very few weaknesses that we had last season. I watched Houston dominate with two (2) 6’8”, 240 Lb. inside bruisers that so often neutralized their 7’ opponents by using position and strength. We will have some of that same characteristic this upcoming season.

Not sure exactly when. Camara still needs to officially sign too. But I think PK has said he expects everyone to be here for summer workouts so should be relatively soon.
