Heading out there for the game in a few weeks and would like to do it right. Get in on Thursday, staying at Mandalay Bay. Big group, all like to drink but not into the club scene at all. Definitely want to have a couple nice dinners.

Just went a couple weeks ago. For shows, saw Blue Man Group and the Cirque show O. Both were awesome.

I'm a Vegas simpleton but there are food options for days there.

One more thing, the previous trips I've used cabs. They will flat rape you any chance they can. We used Uber everywhere and it was perfect. Most of the hotels have a ride share area now, even at the airport where they really tried to keep ride share out of it. Probably waited a max of 5 mins at most.

Ride the zipline at the Rio. You will get you into the Voodoo lounge where you can then spend a lot of money getting really drunk.

If you want to go to a show, check out Absinthe at Caesars. Incredible.

If you're into the Club scene, I went to the Chateau at Paris a few weeks ago. Pretty nice. But you'll need to get bottle service to get a table.

My only advice after being there a lot... don't get stressed out and over plan. You're going to be walking a lot, eating a lot, drinking a lot, etc. Pick a couple specific things you want to hit and then fill the rest with how you're feeling. Catch a show, eat a nice meal (countless options) and the rest is up to you. We've been and partied from the time the plane took off until we boarded to go home. We've also gone, barely drank, got rest, hit the spa. Vegas is so awesome because it's whatever you want it to be.

Where are you staying? Just eat and plan your show from there.

Eat here. Gordy will tell you all about his Kentucky Wife and play My old Kentucky Home for you on the accordion. He's about 90 and food is great. It's just off the strip.

.99 cent footlongs and shrimp cocktails at Slots-A-Fun next to Circus-Circus. It doesn't get more Vegas than that, imo.

Only Vegas plans I've ever made were dinners and shows. Outside of that, let the city take you where it takes you.

Was heading out to Vegas a few years ago and sat next to a local on the flight. He started telling me the secrets to get girls. Here was his advice.

- Don't bother with girls in the clubs. They all go there in packs and inevitably, one of your friends won't be able to close one of her friends. So you'll lose out.
- Don't ever call one of the girls from the fliers they hand out on the street. Said they'll rip you off and you'll grossly overpay. (actually happened to a friend of mine on said trip, after the first rule failed him)
- He said to use the internet wisely, that there are agencies for such adventures.

That conversation was hysterical in retrospect as the group I went with came back with a fantastic story. But Vegas is truly what you want it to be. Only plan a few things and enjoy the rest.

Mandalay...hmmmm, seems there is an awesome pool there. Can't really recall (.)(.)

Hit the rooftop restaurant for a drink. Awesome view of the strip.

One of the best times I had there was when we took a night and went in every cassina and played a few $ worth of slots and walked around. Stayed long enough to watch their free shows/events.
