Eh..... He really doesn’t look 6’7” and although he looks stalky, no way is that a solid 260 right there. I don’t see it.
I think he might be going to Cal(Berkeley). That’s the only school I know of that’s actually been recruiting him.

He has baby fat. He could be a Zion type if he tones up and gets some foot speed. I'd take him. Hell at that size I'd take him right now lol
If he’s already 6’7 at 13 years old, he might end up being 7’ or taller by the time he graduates from high school.
I just don’t think he’s 6’7” lol no way or the other 13 year olds are all 6’5”
My sons team played his team last weekend. There are many players on court that were 6'5 and even taller than 6'7. He is every bit of 6'7 and 250plus. I did not say solid as he is overweight and chubby right now. Has nice touch and knows how to use his body. The player on his team to watch is Nate Sasser who has loads of potential.
So there was really a 2-3 courts full of 6'5-6'7 13 year olds? I know there are some "freaks" (in a good way) out there, but I've been around HS sports a long time and these guys don't usually grow until after 9th grade. I would believe they were all 6'1-6'3 range. Besides, everyone lies about height...always.
BTW at this time of year 8th graders are usually 14 and some are 15 if they have been held back. The team he is on the shortest starter is probably 6'1. This was a tournament of some of the best 8th grade teams in the country. Yes, many of the players are 6'1-6'3 but there are many who are over 6'5. I think every team we played had at least one 6'7 player most had two.
Here is the starting lineup of one the teams in 8th grade. I would say height actually 1inch shorter. Those are probably with shoes on. Very big regardless

Lol, I have no reason to doubt you. That just seems wild to me. Again, I coach HS sports and have for a while and I've never seen any teams like that...of course, I don't coach the greatest players ever. I would kill for one legit 6'4 guy. Also, in my experience around the sport guys lie about their heights. Again, not saying thats whats going on here, but its a pet peeve of mine. I know a guy who is legit 6'8, but tells people he's 6'10.
not one of the highschool teams in my immediate area have the kind of size that we saw this past weekend. Travel AAU ball is different. Every legit 8th grade travel team has at least one player taller than 6'5. Kids are big these days! The team Carey is on and a few other teams from that tournament are the biggest I have seen and keep in my mind my sons team has legit 6'7, 6'4, 6'2, 6'1 for 8th grade. LOL
I hear ya. AAU is a different animal. My only question now is what is a “legit” AAU tourney? Are any of them actually legit? Jk...you know HS coaches can’t ever give travel ball any credit.
