AS the game progressed last week he seemed to gain confidence in himself and the players gained it in him...i cant waitvto see him get back out there...thoughts??

It was great for the whole offense's confidence- but one word of caution - the New Mexico State's defense looked very slow to me - that would mean most of those plays will not go anywhere against a quicker defensive team like you normally find in the SEC.

Go Big Blue!

I don't know the guy at all and had never heard of him before he commited here. But he seems like the kinda player that shines brightest on the biggest stages. Maybe going into the week knowing he was number 1 gave him some confidence and hopefully he shows up big Saturday.

Our offense is shaping up nicely.

The emergence of SJ gives it just a little bit more flavor. Add a TE into the mix and we have the makings for something pretty good.

We have, for the first time in a while, a full squad capable of producing and making plays at every position.

With the exception of about 4 games I thought coming into the season that our O was capable of putting up some nice numbers, and that all our D would have to do is not give up 35+...

Well duh haha what I'm saying if you've seen him post on Rupps then you'd know why screwduke said that
Well duh......Calling him out when he posts something stupid is understandable but there is nothing wrong with this thread. There's way too much unnecessary hate on this board!

What gave me hope for Johnson was his ability to read the defense and get rid of the football quickly to help out the oline. Johnson is fast enough to gain some yards and extend plays but his arm and ability to decipher presnap gives me hope

I believe Gunnar Hoak to be the best QB at UK. He certainly looked more poised and decisive in the few snaps he got in the spring game. More so than either Barker or Johnson. I also believe Luke Wright is better than either of those 2.

I actually read the OP and thought wow, umm with a somewhat meaningful and dare I say, good, post. Then he doesn't let me down and gives us another great response. He's gonna go down as a legend no doubt

Ullisismyman is obviously no older than 15. Lets not make fun of him. We should encourage his great imaginations.

Yes ullis, SJ is going to be a beast after his promising game vs the best defense in the country. Now study hard, your first highschool midterms are next week.

Certainly any post expressing any optimism about any phase of UK football is deserving of all the ridicules you can muster.

That is why I am afraid to mention anything about Boom's career night, the three TDs our young TE scored, and not just the four TDs our TRUE FRESHMAN scored but the never say die spirit he showed in scoring them. No doubt the FOUR men he dragged over he goal line weighed less than a thousand pounds, I'm sure most of our posters could have done that pretty easily..

It must be the same for all the other posters on here, hardly a mention of any of the good performances on here, I really miss the posts about Timmons dropping passes, but ten new coaching candidates every day.

Not to mention the job our young QB did, no doubt that was just a fluke.

Must be a lot of idiots outside this board, they have UK favored in the game..

UMM has a very unique perspective of, well..everything.
I used to argue with him, then ignore; but he is like a car crash. You want to look away, but you just can't.
I guess he is the poster child for "any publicity, is good publicity"

Hope SJ's ready for what he's about to see. SCAR will put 8 in the box and dare SJ to beat them. Is he up to it?
