The reason he is nicknamed the Mayor is because he got a bunch of write in votes in the Ames, Iowa 1993 Mayoral election. Wouldn't make much sense to call him the Mayor here. But people already seem to be calling him that so probably too late.

If he can get Nebraska to the dance, win a game, and make the program a somewhat regular dance team, and win some of those games, call him the freaking Emperor for all I care.
