Does anyone here still have any VHS tapes and/or a VCR? What are the oldest ones you've got?

I haven't had a VCR in a long time but I bet I could find multiple VCRs (and VHS tapes) at my parents' houses.

My childhood HBO Star Wars recordings are long gone, but I still have my 1997 SE sets. I also have half of an entire small drawer filled with promotional pins for Wal-Mart VHS tapes (and DVDs) from the late 1990s. I recently unearthed some of my (neatly labeled) recordings of The X-Files and Star Trek: the Next Generation (both from Fox from the mid-90s), and I still have some tapes that I bought at places like Fayette Mall in the '90s (Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, The Black Cauldron, a few others) and a few tapes from the '80s (mostly Transformers), but as far as I know that's it.

I think I still have a tape that was made when I went to church camp right after I graduated high school but I don't feel like looking for it. And even if I still had it I have no way of watching it.

Still have a VCR. Got a bunch of family tales that I want to convert to digital, but it takes a while. Got rid of all the real movies a couple years ago. The oldest tape I have is probably one of me preaching at church at age 12.

Ya we still have some from the 80s/early 90s that I’m not sure if they even work or not as we do t have a VCR. Old family videos. Should probably convert them before it’s too late

I had quite a few but I converted them to DVD and then to digital (hard drive). Still have a few that are copyrighted but that can be easily solved. Just haven't had the motivation.
