Vic got some late run in the blowout loss today. In four minutes, he took one shot and splashed it (a 3-pointer), grabbed two boards and had a nice one-handed bounce pass off the dribble for an assist (it set up a 3). Had a similar one on a drive to the basket that set up a floater for his teammate, but the dude bricked it.

It's probably not going to be enough to earn time this series, but he's showing teams that he's comfortable out there and that his talent deserves to be developed.

Out today, with an "sore Achilles", which you can read into if you would like...

Bucks refuse to play today in support of demonstrations in Wisconsin.

I’m here for it.

Vic didn’t play in the Magic’s final game yesterday. They lost 118-104 to the #1 seed Magic so it was never in blowout territory. I’m unaware of how serious his Achilles injury is, but can attest after a recent bout of Achilles tendinitis that it is no joke.

However this season was a clear positive for Vic’s career. He proved he belongs in the NBA and had our first alumni NBA double-digit scoring performance since Esch. Given the league’s emphasis on perimeter defense - AKA Dort for the Thunder is only playing to defend Harden - he has a real shot to stick. Especially if he keeps hitting 3s.

Good luck Vic!
