Vince and UL talking? I'd imagine that would be a pretty short conversation.

Vince has turned down much better offers than UL to stay here. He's extremely loyal to Stoops. There's no way he takes a job with UL, one of our most hated rivals, especially with Coen returning and the positive buzz associated with that.

Rowland reported that earlier. He said VM and Jeff Brougm are familiar with each other, said it will resemble the Mel Tucker situation from a couple of years back. I dismissed it myself, still do. I think Rowland is reading the room wrong on this one.

You're going to tell me, Brougm has a better relationship with VM than Mark Stoops. Then you think Vince is going to spend 12 years helping Stoops build the players and culture at UK. Only to turn around and be on the outside looking in, right when they have things on the cusp of what they have been trying to achieve for 12 years. NOT BUYING IT!!

Yeah...baloney
- It's Brohm.
- And there is zero evidence Vince and Brohm are anything like Vince and Mel Tucker used to be.
- UL is paying Brohm below wage to be head coach....do you honeslty think they have money to pay Vince to be top recruiting at UL when UK is paying him the bank hes' already making.?

Vince ain't going to UL regardless.

Reported that Vince and UofL might be talking about him taking a position there? He does leverage plays constantly I’m kind of tired of it. Go or dont
Vince has flat out denied he‘s going to Louisville. However, he should be sought after by a lot of schools. This goes with being a high talented individual. He should entertain such interests just like any of us would do. At end of the day, each of us has to first look after ourselves and our families. Each of us should consider all opportunities which come available.

If in fact he is leveraging us or entertaining a job there (I doubt he is) just go. He is a good recruiter but thats about it.

Then he gets a bunch of fans begging him "please Vince don't go!!!!"

Then Marrow shoots down the job rumor he started

Kind of a pattern?

Don't anybody get pissed, I love Big Dawg. Just at this point Don't react at all about "school XXX to pursue Marrow!!!" rumors.
After turning down MI and MI St, Marrow doesn't have to issue denials. He and Stoops grew up together and are close. Marrow has been getting the job done here. His players love him. Recruits love him. If he wanted to go, he would probably have done that several years ago. JMO.

I would say there are schools interested every year, he can still relate to young football recruits. I don't however think any of them have had the kind of draw that UM and Mich. St. had. The rumors to get pay bumps is just part of the game. IMO, probably not the coach doing it most of the time but rather their agent just doing their job.

Our recruiting class this year isn’t exactly a thing of beauty! Especially after winning 10 games last year. I wouldn’t trade the Big Dawg for anyone but just saying! I guess that’s why some coaches are being let go, Vince can’t recruit the whole class.

You really sound like a dumbass. If theres any coach in college football who earns their money plus some it's Vince marrow. You don't think he hasn't had offers to go elsewhere already with all of the recruiting success alone that he's had. Vince may eventually go somewhere else but I can about guarantee it wouldn't be Louisville

I think I’ve heard before from reliable sources that Vince is always looking for an angle to get more money. Can’t say I fault him though 😁.

Can you tell me where UL is going to get the money for Vince?
They don’t have it. That’s why these Vince might leave stories from his media buddies need to stop. And this was from his media buddy first, not UofL reporters.

I sound like a dumbass but you can’t read my post? I know he’s not going to UofL. He would take up over half of their assistant money pool. I’m saying it gets old that his media buddies put out stories that he might leave every week now. Do you think he was considered for a second for Cincy’s job? He wasn’t but he had three different UK reporters starting a rumor that he was.

He’s a huge asset to the program, he’s very well compensated, now do the job instead of acting like you’re walking out the door all the time.

I thought Lackford was the 1st one reporting it

You totally didn’t read the story. So, a day after Looeyville names their new coach, they start a rumor to try to plant a seed of doubt in players minds. Come on man, be smarter than that. You actually think he had any interest in going to that ********? I have read things today from people I thought had some sense.
